Video: Life and death for Sderot's disabled - making it easier to reach a bomb shelter

More than 7,000 Kassam rockets have hit Sderot during the past seven years. That's one thousand rockets a year, or a little more than three every day. For people in Sderot, being able to run and take cover is crucial: It can mean the difference between life and death. But imagine being in a wheelchair. A Red Alert sounds, and you too have only 15 seconds to find a safe space (actually it's less than fifteen seconds - closer to nine seconds - as I pointed out here). As one might imagine, there's not enough time to get to a shelter, and if by chance a shelter is nearby, rarely is it designed with the disabled in mind.
