Giuliani to be McCain's VP candidate?

If this is true, it would sure lock in my vote (Hat Tip: Hot Air). Not that my vote needs locking in....
Why is John McCain's campaign announcing that Rudy Giuliani will hold a media avail tomorrow in PA? Veep selection committee chair?
I'd love to see Rudy as VP candidate, but I find it hard to believe he's considered conservative enough for what many (most?) people believe McCain needs right now.

Two RINOs are not likely to induce conservatives to show a great deal of enthusiasm for the ticket - or accept confidence in McCain's judgment.

If Guiliani is holding the press conference, then he is not the VP. He may be heading up McCain search committee.

McCain will personally introduce his VP.

Oh, please, please no!--McCain is bad enough. I also note that another idea that's been floated for McCain is that he select an unorthodox choice for VP, like a general--Bill Kristol suggests Petraeus, but come on, McCain's probable choice for any general for VP would be Jim Jones, if he were to pick a general at all.

Given McCain's age and as yet undisclosed medical situation (post-melanoma surgery), who he picks as VP will surely have significantly extra weight in the minds of voters--w/me anyway.
