Israeli police kill terrorist who murdered 3 in Tel Aviv, 'Palestinian peace partners' declare him a martyr
Shavua tov, a good week to everyone.
Last Friday, a 'Palestinian' terrorist named Nashat Milhem opened fire on a Tel Aviv cafe
murdering three people. (The number of people Milhem murdered has been corrected in this post).
This Friday, agents from Israel's General Security Service
killed Milhem in a shootout in his hometown of Arara in Northern Israel.
Milhem was found in his hideout and was discovered after the Shin Bet
received information on his location on Friday, following an intensive
Shin Bet - Israel Police investigation that included many undercover
and overt operations to track him down.
The shooter tried to escape when he noticed security in the area, and
opened fire at security forces using the Spectre M4 Falcon sub-machine
gun in his possession, which he also used to murder his victims in Tel
Aviv the previous week, the Shin Bet stated.
The family has erected a mourner's tent in his memory.
That would be the same family whose head called for his son's arrest. The father was
arrested anyway four days ago.
Hamas declared Nashat Milhem a 'martyr.' So did our 'peace partners' at the 'Palestinian Authority.' Until they figured out that he was an '
Israeli Arab.'
The PA Ministry of Health initially added Milhem, who is an Israeli
citizen, to its list of “martyrs” who were killed by Israelis during the
current wave of terrorism, which began in early October.
However,
the ministry on Friday night removed Milhem’s name from the list. The
ministry explained that it documents the names of Palestinian “martyrs”
only in areas that fall under its jurisdiction, namely the West Bank,
Gaza Strip and east Jerusalem.
However, the ministry did not
offer any explanation as to why another Israeli Arab, Muhanad al-Okabi,
is included in its list of “martyrs.” Al-Okabi, who carried out the
October 18 terror attack at the Beersheba Central Bus Station, appears
as number 31 on the PA ministry’s list of “martyrs.”
The
ministry defended the decision to remove Milhem’s name from its “list of
martyrs” by arguing that this does not mean that he is not entitled to
be characterized as a “martyr.”
A statement issued by the PA
ministry praised Milhem as “one of the most precious martyrs whose name
has been inscribed with his pure blood that watered our the soil of our
free land.”
The ministry dismissed criticism by many Palestinians
for excluding Milhem from the list, saying he is no difference between
him and any other Palestinian “martyr.”
“We are proud of our
Palestinian people in the 1948 lands,” the PA ministry said, referring
to Israel’s Arab citizens. “We are proud of their sacrifices and
achievements. No one can deny their belonging to their homeland,
Palestine.”
In other words, the 'Palestinian Authority' still loves him anyway.
It will be interesting to see how many 'Israeli Arab' politicians show up at the 'mourning tent' and how their Leftist supporters in Tel Aviv will react if they do.

Disclosed: French police foiled plot to attack anti-Semitism conference
The French newspaper Le Progres disclosed on Tuesday that French police
foiled a terror attack that was planned in September against an anti-Semitism conference in Lyon (Hat Tip:
Daniel Greenfield).
The five suspects who were arrested in a
series of sweeps by French police between Sept. 16 and Sept. 18 were
planning to strike on Sept. 18 at an event organized in Lyon by the
regional branch of the CRIF umbrella of French Jewish communities and
organizations, according to a report Tuesday in the Le Progres daily.
An unnamed police officer who is in charge of
the investigation confirmed to the daily that the suspects were arrested
following the interception of a September 5 telephone conversation in
which they discussed their plans.
Among the five arrested are Karim and Reda
Bekhaled, two brothers who are believed to have been involved in
recruiting radical Muslims to fight in Syria, along with the remaining
three suspects. Reda Bekhaled was heard discussing the plans in the
recorded conversation.
The police officer said the brothers “had the
ambition of dying as martyrs” and “planned to carry out imminently an
act of violence.”
How many more Muslims are there in France who have the 'ambition of dying as martyrs'? There seem to be an awful lot of them.

These are the victims
These are the two kids who were murdered by Zeid Abu Ein in a Tiberias marketplace in 1979. On your right is 16-year old Boaz Lahav HY"D (May God Avenge his blood), and on your left is 14-year old David Lankry.
The terrorist who murdered them - Zeid Abu Ein - was the 'senior Palestinian official' who gave himself a heart attack and died while fighting Israeli troops today.
The full story of the bombing carried out by Abu Ein is
here (in Hebrew).
The 'Palestinian Authority' honors terrorists like Zeid Abu Ein. We need to point out what a scumbag he was.
Boaz would have been 51 today. David would have been 49.

'Palestinian' mother: 'Life is worthless'
Here's an interview with a 'Palestinian' mother whose child was being treated in a Jerusalem hospital last week. She hopes the child recovers and grows up to be... a shahid (martyr).
Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip:
Roberto K).
But yeah, we're humanitarians so we'll keep treating them for free. What could go wrong?

Mohammed Deif: 'Our soldiers run toward martyrdom like yours flee from death'
Hamas military chief Mohammed Deif broadcast a message to Israel on Tuesday night on Hamas' al-Aqsa television network. In addition to the message in the title, he said that there would be no cease fire until the 'siege' of Gaza is lifted, and there would be 'no compromise.'
Let's go to the videotape.
Apparently, those 'brave warriors' who are 'running toward martyrdom' do not include the Hamas leadership, which continues to hide in the basement of Gaza City's Shifa Hospital.

What was missing from Jake Tapper's interview with Dianna Buttu
Please recall
Jake Tapper's interview with 'Palestinian' spokeswoman Dianna Buttu.
Here's an updated version into which evidence that Tapper didn't have has been spliced. It's an eye opener.

What kind of society produces such mothers?
In an earlier post, I showed a video of the
mother of Amr Abu Aysha, one of the two terrorists behind the kidnapping and murder of Naftali Frenkel, Eyal Yifrach and Gilad Shaar. Aysha's mother, who is not the 'lady' in the picture above (she is the
since deceased Umm Nidal, known as the '
mother from hell' during her lifetime), denied that her son was involved, but said that she'd be proud of him if she was. Bret Stephens asks
what kind of society produces such mothers?
Here's my question: What kind of society
produces such mothers? Whence the women who cheer on their boys to blow
themselves up or murder the children of their neighbors?
Well-intentioned
Western liberals may prefer not to ask, because at least some of the
conceivable answers may upset the comforting cliché that all human
beings can relate on some level, whatever the cultural differences. Or
they may accuse me of picking a few stray anecdotes and treating them as
dispositive, as if I'm the only Western journalist to encounter the
unsettling reality of a society sunk into a culture of hate. Or they can
claim that I am ignoring the suffering of Palestinian women whose
innocent children have died at Israeli hands.
But
I'm not ignoring that suffering. To kill innocent people deliberately
is odious, to kill them accidentally or "collaterally" is, at a minimum,
tragic. I just have yet to meet the Israeli mother who wants to raise
her boys to become kidnappers and murderers—and who isn't afraid of
saying as much to visiting journalists.
You've also yet to meet the first Israeli mother who is happy when her son dies in battle, even when there is reason to be proud of the circumstances of his death. For example, while there was a lot of pride in
what Roi Klein did during the Second Lebanon War, I don't recall hearing from anyone in Israel - family member or otherwise - who was happy about it.
Read the whole thing.
