US Secretary of State John FN Kerry has endorsed a supposed fatwa against nuclear weapons issued by Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khameni.
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry announced on Voice of America that
he has high regard for the Fatwa (religious decree) regarding nuclear
issues put forth by Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.
In an interview on VOA, Kerry said: “I show a lot of respect for this
fatwa as it is a religious message and is highly respected by people.”
He stressed that he and the U.S. president welcome such a fatwa but
he added that the fatwa now needs to be framed in legal terms.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has issued a fatwa that the
production and use of weapons of mass destruction are haram (forbidden
in religious terms).
Kerry said Iran is entitled to a peaceful nuclear program but added
that the program must be transparent and operate under international
regulations.
In September, US President Hussein Obama assured the United Nations General Assembly that there was no need to fear an Iranian nuclear weapon because Iran's spiritual leader, Ayatollah Ali Khameni, had issued a fatwa (prohibition) against nuclear weapons.
I leave it to the reader to decide whether Obama is purposely propagating an Iranian lie in a bid to strengthen Iran and weaken the United States (and Israel) or whether he just fell for an Iranian lie.
Syrians are starving to death, but no one cares because there is no way to blame the Jews. That's the only conclusion I can draw from this report, which says that a fatwa has been issued that allows starving Syrians to eat cats and dogs.
As Muslims around the world mark the Eid al-Adha holiday, sharing
festive meals, children trapped in besieged areas around the Syrian
capital are going hungry, activists and medics say.
In some
areas children have died from severe malnutrition, according to one NGO,
and a cleric told AFP he had issued a religious ruling allowing the
eating of dog and cat meat.

Speaking to AFP on the eve of Eid, a cleric in southern Damascus said a
man in his area recently ate dog meat out of desperation.
“We
issued a religious edict allowing people to eat dog and cat meat. Not
because it is religiously permitted, but because it is a reflection of
the reality we are suffering,” said Sheikh Saleh al-Khatib, who has been
on hunger strike for nine days.
“People here have nothing for their children. I am on strike because I want to help save food for others.”
“How does the world sleep with full stomachs while there are hungry
people, and not far from the main city [Damascus],” said a leading imam
originally broadcasted by the Southern Damascus Media Office.
The Imam went on to say that while Muslims were busy on the pilgrimage (hajj) to Mecca, “there are people who died from hunger.”
“Haven’t
you heard the fatwas that have filled our streets and mosques by
permitting people to eat cats, dogs and other animals that have already
been killed by the bomb attacks?” he said according to the report.
He added, “Are you waiting for us to eat the flesh of our martyrs and our dead after fearing our lives?”
A
fatwa permitting the eating of cats, dogs, and donkeys was also issued
by an imam in the Palestinian Yarmouk refugee camp in southern Damascus,
which has been under siege, according to a report in the London-based
daily Asharq Al-Awsat on Sunday.
Maybe President Obama can at least send them some recipes. He's not sending anything else.
'Palestinian' prisoners' wives to be artificially inseminated?
The 'Palestinians' fatwa council has approved the artificial insemination of the wives of 'Palestinians' in Israeli prisons. Yes, of course, only with the terrorist husbands' sperm.
The Razan Medical Center for Infertility, which has clinics in Ramallah
and Nablus, has offered free insemination treatment to the wives of
political prisoners who manage to smuggle sperm out of Israeli jails.
In February, the clinic announced that four prisoners' wives were pregnant as a result of artificial insemination.
The
clinic's director-general, Salim Abu al-Khayzaran, explained the
insemination process to the Fatwa council, which issued a decision
approving the treatment on Wednesday.
The council set over a dozen conditions to make the process religiously acceptable.
The couple must be married, and the pregnancy must be agreed by both
partners and preferably their families, the council ruled. Several of
the couple's next-of-kin relatives must witness the insemination, and
the process must be made public.
The council also ruled that
artificial insemination must be the only possible option for pregnancy.
It said the couple must have consummated their marriage, ruling out
marriages entered into in prison, as unconsummated marriages are
considered engagements.
It must be the prisoner's first child
to qualify as an emergency, and the detainee must be serving a long
sentence which would prohibit childbearing upon his release.
Either the 'Palestinians' are able to smuggle semen out of Israeli prisons within an hour (where are the Israeli prison authorities?), or the 'Palestinians' have discovered the secret of immaculate conception, or this story is a lie in one of two ways.
I leave the intellectual exercise to figure out the two ways in which this story could be a lie to the reader .
Fatwa issued against foreign Muslims visiting Temple Mount
A fatwa has been issued against foreign Muslims visiting the Temple Mount so long as it remains in the hands of the 'Zionist occupation.'
Dr. Maher
al-Huli, head of the fatwa department in the PSA[Palestine Scholars Association], said that non-Palestinian
Muslims should refrain from visiting the Al-Aksa Mosque “while it remains captive
by the state of the Jews.”
He said in a fatwa that Muslims were instead
entrusted by God with “liberating and saving the mosque from the Jewish usurpers
and restoring it to the glory of Muslims.”
The fatwa came in response to
reports that pilgrims from some Islamic countries have recently been visiting
the Temple Mount as part of tourist trips.
According to Huli, “refusing
to visit the Aksa Mosque while it is under occupation means rejecting Zionist
sovereignty over the holy site and combating normalization with the Zionist
enemy.”
He said that Muslims need to be taught that Jerusalem is an
Islamic city that can’t be handed over to others. He also called for teaching
Muslims about the need to wage jihad in order “to liberate the mosque and lands
from the usurpers.”
"And I think to myself, what a wonderful world..."
A Salafi sheikh in Egypt has reportedly issued a fatwa that buying [or driving] a Chevrolet vehicle is haram because the American brand’s logo looks like the Christian cross.
In the video below, prominent Egyptian TV presenter Amr Adeeb takes the sheikh’s joke-of-a-fatwa to task, saying, “We’ve reached a really strange place with this.”
“The car’s been around [for a century] and only now did you notice there’s a cross on the car?”
Adeeb also notes that the car is not used or presented as a form of religious iconography: “Do we hold mass for it? Do we pray for it?” And his guest chimes in with a comment about the self-centered nature of the fatwa itself: “As if the people who came up with the logo were thinking that we want to put this special logo on the car just to piss us [Muslims] off?”
The TV presenter concludes, “With all of the problems in Egypt, you’re concerned about the cross?... We’re calling for unity [in the country] and then you come up with [fatwas] like this?”

Egyptian cleric calls for murder of all Zionists entering Egypt
An Egyptian cleric has called for the murder of all Zionists who enter Egypt.
Dr. Salah Sultan, a member of Yusuf al-Qaradawi's International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, declared on al-Jazeera that the IUMS would restore the fatwa they issued in 1994, which stated that "every Zionist who enters Egypt--tourist or not--should be killed."
With all the attempts in the Arab world to blame 'Zionists' for the car bombing at a Christian Coptic Church in Alexandria, Egypt late Friday night, I'm sure you'll all be just shocked to hear that a fatwa has been posted on jihadist websites justifying the terror attack.
A religious edict signed by a Mauritanian cleric linked to Al-Qaeda' s late leader in Iraq and posted to jihadist websites appears to legitimise the deadly New Year's Eve attack on a church in northern Egypt. The edict, signed last month by Abu al-Mandhar al-Shanqiti, urges Muslims to avenge the alleged imprisonment in a convent of two Egyptian women after they converted to Islam.
Al-Shanqiti is close to the Jordanian sheikh Abu Muhammad al-Maqdisi, the mentor of Al-Qaeda's leader in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who was killed in a US raid there in 2006.
"How should Sharia (Islamic) law view Coptic priests and Christians who proselytise in our country and kidnap our women?" said al-Shanquiti's message, cited by jihadist website Al-Tawed.
"You should attack those who attack you, with a force that is equal to or greater than theirs."
"The Koran endorses the principle of 'an eye for an eye', a tooth for a tooth."
And as Zip points out, "every religion has its extremists," or so the dogma goes, but when did you ever hear of a Christian cleric justifying violence against innocent Muslims?
How about violence against innocent Jews? Unfortunately, I have heard too many Christian clerics justify that, although I doubt you'll find many examples of them justifying violence against innocent Muslims.
In any event, it's clear to anyone with eyes and a brain in their head that Jews had nothing to do with Friday night's car bombing terror attack.
