Another Sabbath massacre
In an attack reminiscent of the
massacre of the Fogel family in Itamar in 2011, a 'Palestinian' terrorist
knocked on the door of a Jewish family in the village of Halamish (Neve Tsuf) that was holding a Shalom Zachar (celebration of the birth of a boy) on Friday night, walked in, and started stabbing the residents. The terrorist murdered the grandfather - 70-year old Yosef Salomon, his daughter 46-year old Chaya Salomon, and his son, 36-year old Elad Salomon HY"D (May God Avenge their blood). The grandmother, 68-year old Tova Salomon, was seriously wounded. If not for quick thinking by daughter-in-law Michal Salomon, who rushed her five children into a room, locked the door and called the police, the massacre might have been much worse. An off-duty soldier neighbor shot the terrorist through a nearby window, wounding him. The entire attack, from the time the terrorist jumped the fence of the village until he was neutralized, took
less than 15 minutes.
It has been reported that when medics came to treat the terrorist and his victims,
the terrorist attempted to attack the medics.
In Gaza, the terror attack triggered
celebrations. This morning, Israel's Hebrew-English 'Palestinian' daily, Haaretz, publishes a column by Gideon Levy that
dances on the victims' blood before they can even be buried. I won't sicken you by posting quotes from it.
The other group that's dancing on the victims' blood is the international media. Those include al-AP and al-Guardian.
And for those of you who are still foolish enough to believe that Muslims are 'just like us,' here's the terrorist's mother. Let's go to the videotape.
Those who believe that this is not a religious war are simply fooling themselves.

Government laying groundwork for expanding Judea and Samaria towns
Finally, it looks like Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria may be moving ahead. The Jewish town of
Nofim has been granted a municipal zoning plan.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak, it what seems to be a move inspired by right-wing pressures, agreed Sunday on a new zoning plan for the West Bank settlement of Nofim. The rare move effectively enables further developments of the settlement.
Nofim residents said that despite the settlement existing for over 24 years – following an official governmental decision – and it being built on lands acquired legally from Palestinians, Barak has yet to sign off on a zoning plan for what they claim are "political reasons". This caused the government to stop investing in the settlement and left many zoning plans untouched.
"The Sasson Report has tainted us all," said Nofim residents, recalling the 2005 official document inferring that Israeli state bodies had diverted millions to West Bank settlements and outposts' construction plans, which are considered illegal under Israeli law.
"For almost six years now we've been suffering from lack of legitimacy despite the fact the government is responsible for building and sending us here," a Nofim resident added.

Even homes that were built there have not received a 'Form 4' permitting to populate the area, according to residents. "All this while kibbutzim and many other communities in the State exist without a signed zoning plan," they said.
Nofim is a secular - and not a religious - town.
That article from YNet claims that of the twelve Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria that do not have zoning plans, only two - Neve Tzuf and Kiryat Netafim - have begun proceedings to finalize those plans. But
Arutz Sheva tells a different story.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak are expected to approve urban plans for six communities in Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley. The communities in question are Chemdat, Eshkolot, Kiryat Netafim, Neve Tzuf Chalamish, Nofim and Rotem.
Barak associates stress that although the plans are officially called urban construction plans, no construction is planned for the six communities. At the same time, approval of the plans allows state institutions to build on their property and add security roads and other facilities.
We need a new defense minister. But then, we already knew that.

Maan reports 'settler' lifesaving story
The Arab news service Maan has reported the
story in which
'settlers' saved a 'Palestinian' baby with an umbilical cord wrapped around its neck outside the Jewish town of Itamar during the week after the Fogel family massacre.
Israeli forces and paramedics saved the life of a Palestinian woman and her newly born infant Wednesday, at the settlement where five members of a family were murdered, news reports said.
More important than reading the whole thing, I suggest that you
read the comments to get a sense of the lies that are used in the 'Palestinian' areas to spread Jew hatred.
In an email, Palestinian Media Watch's Itamar Marcus reported that the Arabic version of Maan also reported the story, but attributed it to 'Israeli news reports,' implying that they were less than believable.

They murder us and we save their lives
What may be the most amazing thing about this country and the Jewish people is that despite the fact the our neighbors continue to murder us - as we saw last weekend in Itamar - we retain our basic humanity and continue to treat them as individuals worthy of human dignity and having their lives saved.
Yes, in Itamar (okay, next door to Itamar, in Neve Tzuf).
Just as IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz arrived in Neve Tzuf to offer his condolences, a Palestinian cab raced towards the community’s entrance. In it, soldiers and paramedics discovered a Palestinian woman in her 20s in advanced stages of labor and facing a life-threatening situation: The umbilical cord was wrapped around the young baby girl’s neck, endangering both her and her mother.
The quick action of settler paramedics and IDF troops deployed in the area saved the mother’s and baby’s life, prompting great excitement and emotions at the site where residents are still mourning the brutal death of five local family members.
