The next President of the United States... Huma Abedin?

I screen capped this from a Facebook page. The site to which it links is so busy that you cannot access it right now. But you can read the email it quotes. If the email is authentic (and I know nothing of its source) it is - to put it mildly - deeply disturbing.

Is Hillary Clinton a puppet for the Muslim Brotherhood's Huma Abedin? Will the Muslim Brotherhood be sitting in the oval office if Clinton wins? Is anyone awake enough at the switch to acknowledge that reality?

Deeply, deeply disturbing.

Will this be Hillary Clinton's Inauguration Day picture?

Shavua tov, a good week to everyone.

Having seen the news that broke while it was the Sabbath here in Israel, I have to wonder if this will be Hillary Clinton's inauguration.

Thanks to my friends at Legal Insurrection.

Huma: 'Jews in America greatly aided by the American memory of the Holocaust, the use of Israel as an American 'strategic ally' in the Middle East'

A radical Muslim journal for which Huma Abedin - likely to be chief of staff in a Clinton White House - served as assistant editor, published an article during her tenure containing anti-Semitic overtones directed at American Jews.
Abedin, who is vice-chair of Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, spent 12 years as an assistant editor for Journal of Minority Muslim Affairs.
Her mother, Saleha Mahmood Abedin, is the journal's editor-in-chief and has been accused of espousing the views of the Muslim Brotherhood through the publication.
Huma Abedin's brother, Hassan, is an associate editor and her sister, Heba, is an assistant editor.
Huma Abedin was listed on the journal's masthead for more than a decade after she joined Clinton's team in 1996, rising from White House intern to one of the presidential nominee's closest confidantes.
...
One article, published during Huma Abedin's tenure, claimed that many Americans have a 'distorted and negative view' of Islam, Muslims and Arabs - ranging from perceptions of 'poverty, filth, the desert' to ideas that 'their 'sport' (other than sex, of course) is to destabilize Western economies and ruin the world in order to master it'.
The piece from 1999 also alleges that there are deep ties between the upper echelons of U.S. politics and pro-Israeli, Jewish-Americans, suggesting that Jewish people have been able to 'work the system' and are 'greatly aided by the American memory of the Holocaust' and Israel serving as America's ally in the Middle East.
The article was written by Michael W. Suleiman, a professor of Arab studies at Kansas State University who died of cancer in 2010.
'Within the US, pro-Israeli support has been strong among Jewish Americans, whereas Muslim and Arab Americans (another ethnic community) have sympathized with the Palestinians,' the article reads.
'However, Jewish Americans have had a distinct advantage over Muslims and Arabs in the US in that they are better organized, more committed, more united, and generally far better adept at working the American political system of presidential democracy.
'In this they have been greatly aided by the American memory of the Holocaust, the use of Israel as an American 'strategic ally' in the Middle East, as well as by the active missionary zeal and political support of Christian Zionists.'
The article goes on to say that while other minority groups in the U.S. have made great progress in equality, 'it seems that the only people that continue to be presented negatively and maligned with impunity are the Muslims/Arabs'.
But American Jews will vote overwhelmingly for Clinton anyway, because Trump is anti-abortion anti-immigration a Republican.

Read the whole thing.

BWAHAHAHAHA! Weiner to cost Hillary an election?

A bit of American politics that's too good not to share.

The Clinton's are said to be furious at comparisons being made between Hillary standing by Bill when he was philandering and Hillary's top aide - Huma Abedin - standing by Anthony Weiner's indecent exposures (Hat Tip: Memeorandum).
“The Clintons are upset with the comparisons that the Weiners seem to be encouraging — that Huma is ‘standing by her man’ the way Hillary did with Bill, which is not what she in fact did,’’ said a top state Democrat.
Weiner and his campaign aides have explicitly referred to the Clintons as they privately seek to convince skeptical Democrats that voters can back Weiner despite his online sexual antics — just as they supported then-President Bill Clinton in the face of repeated allegations of marital betrayals.
“The Clintons are pissed off that Weiner’s campaign is saying that Huma is just like Hillary,’’ said the source. “How dare they compare Huma with Hillary? Hillary was the first lady. Hillary was a senator. She was secretary of state.”
A longtime Hillary aide and Clinton friend, Abedin’s surprisingly unequivocal support of her husband after his bombshell admission Tuesday that he engaged in salacious online sexting well after he resigned in disgrace from Congress in 2011 left the Clintons stunned, continued the source.

“Hillary didn’t know Huma would do this whole stand-by-your-man routine, and that’s one of the reasons the Clintons are distancing themselves from all this nonsense,’’ the source said.
...
Worried about the potential impact on Hillary’s likely run for president in 2016, the political power couple has begun aggressively distancing itself from the crippled mayoral contender, according to sources.
Meanwhile, at least one prominent Hillary Rodham Clinton political operative was described as close to “going public’’ with a sharp criticism of Weiner — in order to send the message that the Clintons, fearing longtime damage to Hillary, want him out of the mayor’s race. (That would be someone other than former Clinton White House Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers, who said yesterday that she was sure the Clintons wanted Weiner out of the race.)

Could the Weiner's derail the Clinton express? Heh.

It continues: Clinton on her way to pressure Netanyahu on ground op

I don't know whether the Muslim Brotherhood's State Department liaison will accompany her this time, but US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will arrive in Israel on Tuesday night and will meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu on Wednesday morning. The purpose of her visit is to pressure the Israeli government not to wipe out the Hamas terror organization.
White House deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes told reporters that the message of Clinton's trip will be that it is in nobody's interest for there to be an escalation of military conflict in Gaza. He added that Hamas must end rocket attacks into Israel and that Egypt can be a partner in helping to resolve the conflict in Gaza.
Clinton's visit comes amid an flurry of diplomatic visits to the region aimed at securing a cease-fire to end to the hostilities in Gaza.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Tuesday called for an immediate ceasefire and said an Israeli ground operation in the Palestinian enclave would be a "dangerous escalation" that must be avoided.
"Immediate steps are needed by all to avoid a further escalation, including a ground operation which will only result in further tragedy," he said, before adding that Israel has "legitimate security concerns."
Ban spoke at a news conference in Cairo after talks with Arab League chief Nabil Elaraby. Later on Tuesday, the UN secretary-general will travel to Israel for talks with Netanyahu.
In a meeting with President Shimon Peres in the President's Residence on Tuesday, German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle on Tuesday confirmed his frequently voiced stance that Israel has the right to defend herself against rocket attacks from Gaza.
"The German People and the German Government stand by Israel's right to protect and defend itself against missile attacks from Gaza; and Hamas has the responsibility to stop the missile attacks against Israel," Westerwelle said.
"We're all interested in a cessation of hostilities," he said, adding that everyone was working towards a de-escalation of the situation and doing their utmost towards a achieving a ceasefire, but the cessation of rocket-fire against Israel was incumbent upon Hamas.
On Monday night, Westerwelle met with Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman, before heading to Ramallah to meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

The bottom line is that although no one expects us to roll over and play dead (thank God for that), no one is willing to see us actually resolve the problem either.

Do Clinton and Obama think they have a 'responsibility to protect' Hamas? What could go wrong?

Why does Hillary Clinton need Huma to meet with Bibi?

Haaretz's Barak Ravid tweeted this photo of Hillary Clinton arriving at the Regency Hotel in New York for her Thursday meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu.

In a tweeted response, Laura Rozen identified the other people in the picture. That's Hillary in the front. The lady to her left (our right) in the blue pantsuit and pink wrap is Wendy Sherman, the United States' Iranian negotiator. The tall, thin guy behind her is policy planning chief Jake Sullivan. And the woman to Sullivan's right (our left) with the brown shirt, white necklace and off white pants is Hillary's administrative aide Muslim Brotherhood representative Huma Abedin.

What the heck is Huma doing there? Taking notes? For whom?

The movie that's covering for Obama's Middle East failures

Innocence of Muslims is designed to cover the failures of President Obama's Middle East policy according to this report at Accuracy in Media.
Yet, it is significant that Hillary Clinton has been leading the charge against the film, rather than take responsibility for the lack of security in Benghazi, Libya, where the murders of the Americans occurred. Clinton denounced the film and federal authorities directed the apprehension of the filmmaker, using the pretext that he was wanted for questioning about unrelated legal matters. This unprecedented attack on the First Amendment right of free speech demonstrates the Muslim Brotherhood influence over the State Department that Bachmann and other members of the House had warned about. The Muslim Brotherhood regards any critical depiction of Islam’s prophet Muhammad as blasphemy that must be suppressed.

In effect, our own federal government, supposedly committed to protecting our constitution, has sided with Sharia, or Islamic law, which prohibits insulting the prophet.

If Abedin is not a factor behind this policy, who is? The answer, of course, is the President himself, who knows exactly what he is doing. Whereas we have no access to Abedin’s security clearance form 86, which should have disclosed her foreign connections, Obama was never required to fill one out.

But this is more than a political ploy by the media to protect Obama. The coordinated attack on the First Amendment threatens the lives of Americans who dare to criticize Islam and organize to expose Muslim Brotherhood operations on U.S. soil. Coptic Christian Joseph Nassralla, who has been falsely linked in media reports to the content of the film, tells Pamela Geller: “There has been a campaign of disinformation and smears about the film ‘Innocence of Muslims’ and my involvement in it. I have been forced to leave my home, and I have received numerous death threats. It grieves me that my intent was to call attention to the relentless, bloody persecution of the Copts, but that issue is of no interest to the media at all.”

Despite the media bias, it should be clear to anyone paying even casual attention that Obama has lost Egypt and is now in danger of losing Libya to the Islamists. The only legitimate debate is whether this outcome is accidental or planned. Such a debate, which will only be held if Republicans acquire some testosterone, could turn the presidential campaign in Romney’s favor in the same way that Jimmy Carter was unable to recover from the effects of a bad economy and a disastrous foreign policy, resulting in Ronald Reagan coasting to victory.

Huma Abedin and the Muslim Brotherhood: Just one of seven

Huma Abedin may not be the only Muslim Brotherhood member to have attained a high position in the US government. She's just the most visible one. But there's no denying her Brotherhood connections, writes Frank Gaffney, despite the Obama administration's efforts to do just that.
Then, former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy, former Muslim Brother Walid Shoebat and other researchers established a direct tie between Huma Abedin and a Muslim Brotherhood front, the Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA). IMMA was established essentially as anAbedin family business by Abdullah Omar Naseef, an officially designated al Qaeda financier.

Shortly after IMMA was founded under his chairmanship, Naseef became the secretary-general of the Muslim World League (MWL), which Mr. McCarthy described in an Aug. 8 speech in Washington sponsored by the Center for Security Policy as "the Saudi-financed global propagation enterprise by which the Muslim Brotherhood's virulently anti-Western brand of Islamist ideology is seeded throughout the world, very much including in the United States."

It happens that Huma Abedin was listed for 12 years on the masthead of the IMMA's journal as an associate editor. For at least seven of those years, Omar Naseef was also listed as a member of the editorial advisory board.

In his remarks last week, Mr. McCarthy, a former chief assistant U.S. attorney, directly spoke to charges that Huma Abedin was being unfairly challenged by virtue of these various ties to the Muslim Brotherhood: "'Guilt by association' has nothing to do with fitness for high public office. High public office is a privilege, not a right. Access to classified information is a privilege, not a right. You need not have done anything wrong to be deemed unfit for these privileges."

...

Not only does Ms. Abedin's relationship to the Muslim Brotherhood and involvement in policies favorable to its interests warrant close official scrutiny, there are at least six other individuals with Brotherhood ties whose involvement in Obama administration "Muslim outreach" or related policymaking also deserve investigation by the inspectors general and by Congress:

Rashad Hussain, special envoy to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

Dalia Mogahed, an adviser to President Obama

Mohamed Elibiary, a member of the Homeland Security Department's advisory council

Mohamed Magid, a member of the Homeland Security Department's Countering Violent Extremism Working Group

Louay Safi, until recently the credentialing authority for Muslim chaplains in the U.S. military and now a leader of the Brotherhood-dominated Syrian National Council

Kifah Mustapha, a Hamas fundraiser and graduate of the FBI's "Citizens Academy"
Imagine how many more Muslim Brotherhood sympathizers there will be in a second Obama term, God forbid. What could go wrong?

Clinton defends Huma Abedin, attacks those who question her Muslim Brotherhood associations

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is defending her top aide, Huma Abedin, against charges that she is associated with the Muslim Brotherhood. But even Clinton doesn't deny those associations. She claims that it's illegitimate to ask about them (Hat Tip: MFS - The Other News).
What’s very key in that quote from Clinton is that it doesn’t contain a denial of the facts. Instead, she refers to questions as “assaults” and says they shouldn’t be asked.

We beg to differ, especially in light of what we now know. What Hillary knows becomes very important as well.

Regular visitors to this site know that Huma’s time with the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA) is key to understanding the questions raised by the likes of Bachmann. In particular, Huma served as an Assistant Editor there for years. Blind Sheikh prosecutor Andy McCarthy explains over at PJM:
The Center for Security Policy has reviewed past mastheads of the IMMA’s journal. Huma Abedin is listed as an assistant editor (to her mother, the editor-in-chief) as far back as 1996, the year she began interning at the Clinton White House. The IMMA was started in Saudi Arabia in the 1970s by Huma Abedin’s parents, with the backing of Abdullah Omar Naseef. Naseef is a former secretary-general of the Muslim World League, which, as I’ve previously explained, has long been the Muslim Brotherhood’s principal vehicle for the international propagation of Islamic supremacist ideology.
Moreover, Huma remained at IMMA until at least September 24, 2008. Shortly thereafter, she joined Hillary at the State Department. Are we to believe that Hillary doesn’t know about the people Huma was working with at IMMA? Is that why Hillary decided to smear instead of deny facts revealed by asking and answering legitimate questions?

McCain blasts Bachman for Abedin Muslim Brotherhood accusations

Former Republican Presidential candidate John McCain has blasted Michele Bachmann and four other Republicans for claiming that a top aide to Hillary Clinton is an agent of the Muslim Brotherhood.
A letter sent last week to inspectors general of several federal agencies by Bachmann (R-Minn.) and four other Republicans in the House of Representatives suggested that Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood has made “deep penetration” into the federal government and that those agencies should launch an investigation to uncover the influence of the group's agents.

Among the suspected "agents" named in the letter was Huma Abedin, a deputy chief of staff for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and wife of Anthony Weiner, the disgraced former House member from New York who had to resign after tweeting lewd photos of himself to a 21-year-old woman and lying about it. The letter asserted that three of Abedin’s family members are connected to the Muslim Brotherhood and that Clinton’s office has “taken actions recently that have been enormously favorable to the Muslim Brotherhood and its interests."

...

Cosigning the letters were Reps. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), Louie Gohmert, (R-Texas), Thomas Rooney (R-Fla.) and Lynn Westmoreland (R-Ga.).

At the Senate on Wednesday, McCain (R-Ariz.) called Bachmann’s claims “specious and degrading," according to reports.
All I can say is if walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and swims like a duck, it's probably a duck.

Mohammed Morsy's woman in the State Department

Not that the Obama-Clinton administration needs another excuse to back the Muslim Brotherhood, but try this on for size. The mother of Huma Abedin, a top aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the wife of former Congressman Anthony Weiner, is close friends with the wife of newly elected Egyptian President Mohammed Morsy.
One year ago, when Walid discovered the names of 63 leaders who make up the Muslim Sisterhood – which is essentially nothing more than the female version of the Brotherhood – we learned that Huma’s mother, Saleha, was one of those leaders. Little attention has been paid to the other 62 leaders, however. One of them is Najla Ali Mahmoud, the wife of Mursi. Both are members of the Guidance Bureau, which proves fallacious, the claim that Najla is just an innocent and naïve spouse.

This would make Huma’s mother a close, personal colleague of the wife of a virulently anti-Semitic racist who has officially been declared the first president-elect of post-Mubarak Egypt. Mursi also sat behind a Muslim cleric at a presidential campaign rally before the first round of elections, nodding in approval as the cleric enthusiastically informed the crowd that under Mursi, Jerusalem would become the new capital of the next Caliphate.
Hmmm.

Surprise: The US is backing the Syrian opposition

I had forgotten about this. One of the Wikileaks documents released last year showed that the US backing opposition groups in Syria. Who are the opposition groups in Syria? Let's just say that Al-Qaeda, Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood are all supporting the Syrian opposition.

Let's go to the videotape.

Why would the US be backing these groups? Well, Hamas and al-Qaeda are just the progeny of the Muslim Brotherhood and Walid Shoebat argues that the Brotherhood is where you need to look for the answer.
For all intents and purposes, we identified Anthony Weiner’s wife and Hillary Clinton’s closest aid, Huma Abedin as a spy for the Muslim Brotherhood in June of 2011. Surely, she would have been jettisoned from the State Department after we proved that her mother is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and that her familial ties to the group are so extensive that it would be a miracle if Abedin is NOT an Islamic enemy of the United States.

...

Again, it is worth noting that every policy of the Obama administration relative to the Middle East has been beneficial to the Muslim Brotherhood, a group to which Huma’s mother belongs. The photo of Huma informing Hillary of Gadhafi’s death was likely better news to Huma than it was to Hillary because it opened the gate for the Muslim Brotherhood in Libya. Remember, shortly after the fall of Gadhafi, the al-Qaeda (Muslim Brotherhood) flag was placed atop the Benghazi Courthouse.
Have you noticed that every country that has fallen in the Arab spring has fallen to the Muslim Brotherhood? Coincidence? I think not.

Weiner's inlaws tied to Muslim Brotherhood?

Are Anthony Weiner's inlaws tied to the Muslim Brotherhood? That's what this report claims (Hat Tip: Sunlight).
What has not been validated by western media – which has been confirmed by Arab sources – is that Huma has a brother named Hassan Abedin who is a fellow with the Oxford Centre For Islamic Studies (OCIS). This adds to strong evidence that an extremely reputable British institution has been infiltrated.

The OCIS consists of an increasing number of Muslim Brotherhood members who sit on the Board. OCIS has Al-Qaeda godfather, Omar Naseef as well as the notorious Muslim Brotherhood leader and suicide bombing supporter – Sheikh Youssef Qaradawi listed as OCIS Trustees. Naseef continues to serve as Board Chairman.

...

The Shoebat Foundation has also translated Arab sources that identify Huma’s mother – Saleha Mahmoud Abdeen (aka Abedin) as a member of the woman's arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. This information was obtained via Al-Liwa Al-Arabi, which released the entire list on the investigation done by Egyptian security, showing Saleha as a member. This arm is also known as the International Women's Organization (IWO) or “Muslim Sisterhood.”

The 'Dostor' Egyptian newspaper confirms 63 International Missionaries from the Muslim Brotherhood's “Sisterhood” branch that spans 16 different countries; it's also confirmed by the Arab Centre for Studies, headed by researcher Abdul Rahim Ali.

This “Womens Division” of the Muslim Brotherhood can be found at the Muslim Brotherhood's official website. Shoebat translates the relevant excerpt thusly:

“The Womens Organization's goal in accordance with the Muslim Brotherhood rules, is to gain and acquire a unified global perception in every nation in the world regarding the position of women, and the necessity of advocacy work at all levels in accordance to the message of the Brotherhood as written in Women in Muslim Society, and the rearing of women throughout the different stages of life.”
There's a lot about this marriage that doesn't make sense. Weiner is portrayed as one of the strongest pro-Israel politicians in Congress, while Abedin grew up in Saudi Arabia. Love conquers all? Think about how many Muslim women have been murdered by their families for far lesser offenses than marrying prominent pro-Israel Jewish Congressmen.

Of course, if this can be believed, Weiner has converted to Islam. And although he's often known as a conspiracy theorist here in Israel, it's difficult to argue with this part of Barry Chamish's assessment...
Muslim women do not marry Jewish men, unless there’s a reason. President Clinton does not officiate at their wedding, unless there’s a reason. And Jewish Congressmen are not publicly exposed as sexual deviants, while their wife is touring the Middle East as the senior adviser to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton without one heck of a good reason that is not being told.

Anthony Weiner is Israel’s most vocal Democrat supporter in Congress:

...

Democratic US congressman Anthony Weiner, has made no secret in the past of his right-wing views on Israel, for example endorsing the Zionist Organization of America’s opposition to the two-state solution. The key turning point was when Weiner declared, referring to the West Bank: “There’s no occupation there either.”
Is Weiner being manipulated? Did Abedin's family and friends create the scandal to force him out of Congress? Did Weiner create it to try to escape from his marriage? There is definitely much more here than meets the eye.
