Tim Kaine and the Muslim Brotherhood
He couldn't be Hillary's Vice President without ties to
the Democratic party's friends at the Muslim Brotherhood.
In 2007, Kaine was the Governor of Virginia and, of all people, chose
Muslim American Society (MAS) President Esam Omeish to the state’s
Immigration Commission. A Muslim organization against Islamism criticized the appointment and reckless lack of vetting.
Federal prosecutors said in a 2008 court filing that MAS was “founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.” A Chicago Tribune investigation
in 2004 confirmed it, as well as MAS’ crafty use of deceptive semantics
to appear moderate. Convicted terrorist and admitted U.S. Muslim
Brotherhood member Abdurrahman Alamoudi testified in 2012, “Everyone knows that MAS is the Muslim Brotherhood.”
...
According to Omeish’s website, he was also President of the National Muslim Students Association (click there to read our profile about its Muslim Brotherhood origins) and served for two years on the national board of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA),
which the Justice Department also labeled as a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood
entity and unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas-financing trial.
His website says he was Vice President of Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center,
a radical mosque known for its history of terror ties including having
future Al-Qaeda operative Anwar Al-Awlaki as its imam and being
frequented by two of the 9/11 hijackers and the perpetrator of the Fort
Hood shooting. Omeish’s website says he remains a board member.
It says he was chairman of the board of Islamic American University,
which had Hamas financier and Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader
Yousef Al-Qaradawi as chairman of its board until at least 2006. Omeish
was also chairman of the board for the Islamic Center of Passaic County,
a New Jersey mosque with heavy terrorist ties and an imam that the
Department of Homeland Security wants to deport for having links to
Hamas.
Omeish directly expressed extremism before Kaine appointed him. He
claimed the Brotherhood is “moderate” and admitted that he and MAS are
influenced by the Islamist movement. In 2004, Omeish praised the Hamas spiritual leader as “our beloved Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.” Videotape from 2000 also surfaced where Omeish pledged to help Palestinians who understand “the jihad way is the way to liberate your land” (he denied this was an endorsement of violence). In September 2011, Kaine spoke at a “Candidates Night” dinner organized by the New Dominion PAC that presented a Lifetime Achievement Award for Jamal Barzinji, who the Global Muslim Brotherhood Watch describes as a “founding father of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.”
He first came on to the FBI’s radar in 1987-1988 when an informant inside the Brotherhood identified Barzinji and his associated groups
as being part of a network of Brotherhood fronts to “institute the
Islamic Revolution in the United States.” The source said Barzinji and
his colleagues were “organizing political support which involves
influencing both public opinion in the United States as well as the
United States Government” using “political action front groups with no
traceable ties.”
Barzinji had his home searched as part of a terrorism investigation
in 2003. U.S. Customs Service Senior Special Agent David Kane said
in a sworn affidavit that Barzinji and the network of entities he led
were investigated because he “is not only closed associated with PIJ
[Palestinian Islamic Jihad]…but also with Hamas.” Counter-terrorism
reporter Patrick Poole broke the story that Barzinji was nearly prosecuted but the Obama Justice Department dropped plans for indictment.
Barzinji played a major role in nearly every Brotherhood front in the U.S. and was vice president of the International Institute of Islamic Thought,
which came under terrorism investigation also. Barzinji’s group was so
close to Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative Sami Al-Arian that IIIT’s
President considered his group and Al-Arian’s to be essentially one entity.
The indictment of Al-Arian and his colleagues says that they “would
and did seek to obtain support from influential individuals, in the
United States under the guise of promoting and protecting Arab rights” (emphasis mine).
The quotes about Brotherhood operative Barzinji’s aspirations to use
civil rights advocacy as a means to influence politicians are especially
relevant when you consider that video
from the event honoring Barzinji shows Kaine saying that it was his
fourth time at the annual dinner and thanked his “friends” that
organized it for helping him in his campaign for Lieutenant-Governor and
Governor and asked them to help his Senate campaign.
...
Barzinji’s organization, IIIT, donated $10,000
in 2011 to the New Dominion PAC, the organization that held the event
honoring Barzinji that Kaine spoke at. The Barzinji-tied New Dominion
PAC donated $43,050
to Kaine’s gubernatorial campaign between 2003 and 2005. That figure
doesn’t even include other political recipients that assisted Kaine’s
campaign.
The PAC has very strong ties to the Democratic Party in Virginia, with the Virginia Public Access Project tallying almost $257,000 in donations. This likely explains why Barzinji’s grandson served
in Governor McAuliffe’s administration and then became the Obama
Administration’s liaison to the Muslim-American community.
And I see people writing every day on social media about how Trump is an anti-Semite.

Hamas USA marching in Veterans' Day parade in Oklahoma
In 2004, the Committee for American - Islamic Relations (CAIR), a US-based front for Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, was named an
unindicted co-conspirator in the trial of the Holy Land Foundation, which was funneling US money to Hamas. Now, the City of Tulsa, Oklahoma (Yipes! I have a cousin there) is honoring CAIR by allowing it to participate in its
Veterans' Day parade.
For the first time, Oklahoma Muslims will have a float in the
Veterans Day Parade in downtown Tulsa on Nov. 11, and not all parade
participants are happy about it.
“It’s something we have been wanting to do for years,” said Adam
Soltani, executive director of the Oklahoma Chapter of the Council on
American-Islamic Relations, based in Oklahoma City.
Soltani said the float is sponsored by CAIR-Oklahoma but will
“represent the Oklahoma Muslim community, which is a very diverse
community of people from all walks of life, immigrants, indigenous
people.”
“We support all veterans, and we support our country, so I don’t see
why anyone should have any concerns about CAIR being involved,” he said.
“We are an American Muslim organization, and American Muslims support
their government, support their country and definitely support our
troops who are working to defend our constitutional rights and our
freedoms,” he continued.
Soltani said many U.S. Muslims have served in the armed forces and that two veterans are on the CAIR-Oklahoma board.
Larry Williamson, a member of the Tulsa 912 Project, a conservative
organization, said it is “atrocious” to ask veterans to “march alongside
people who represent our enemies in a current war.”
“I believe all American entrants who the parade is intended to honor
should be made aware as soon as possible that they are being asked to
share their honor with the Muslim Brotherhood, sworn enemy of the United
States and our ally Israel and an enemy in our current war on the
Islamic jihad in which American soldiers are fighting and dying,” he
said in a letter to the Tulsa World.
Williamson said he has been told that his Tulsa 912 Project float is
scheduled to be in line next to the CAIR float in the parade.
“I’m not a spokesman for Tulsa 912, but I won’t march alongside the Muslim Brotherhood,” he said.
Asked why he uses the term Muslim Brotherhood instead of CAIR,
Williamson said the FBI has identified CAIR as an arm of the Muslim
Brotherhood in America. CAIR has consistently stated that it has no
connections with any terrorist groups.
Patsy Varnell, vice president of the Tulsa Veterans Day Parade
Association, confirmed that CAIR-Oklahoma’s application to be in the
parade has been accepted.
“The parade is nonreligious,” she said.

There is no way these people should be allowed to march in the parade.

Former President promotes Islamic terrorism
For Jimmy the Dhimmi, the enemy is always Israel (Hat Tip:
Joe L).
And for those who have
forgotten....
A US court ruling that has been kept under wraps for more than a year,
but which was just released to the public, shows that three
organizations who were named as unindicted co-conspirators in the CAIR
trial have more than enough evidence against them to leak them to al-Qaeda.
A
federal judge's long-secret ruling that federal prosecutors violated
the rights of three major American Islamic organizations and others
named as unindicted co-conspirators in a Texas terrorism support case
finally became public on Friday.
However, publication of the
ruling is a mixed blessing for the groups: the Council on
American-Islamic Relations, the Islamic Society of North America and the
North American Islamic Trust. That's because U.S. District Court Judge
Jorge Solis found that the government presented "ample evidence to
establish the association" of the three organizations with Hamas, a
Palestinian group that the U.S. has labeled as a terrorist organization
and with a defunct charity convicted in the terrorism support case, the
Holy Land Foundation.
NAIT appealed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit to overturn Solis's ruling and have it unsealed. The federal appeals court recently agreed that the ruling should be unsealed and suggested that parts of it went too far, but the appeals panel refused to change it.

Obama's friends at CAIR call for Israel's destruction
The spokesman for the New York branch of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has
called for the destruction of the State of Israel.
The slogan, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” can
be heard regularly from the shores of the Gaza Strip, emanating from
members of terrorist groups, including Hamas and Palestinian Islamic
Jihad. The river represents the Jordan River, and the sea is the
Mediterranean – both sides of Israel. Essentially, this means the
destruction of Israel.
Khaled Meshaal, the global head of Hamas, stated something similar,
when he made his historic visit to Gaza this month. He said, “Palestine is ours from the river to the sea and from the south to the north.”
Just one week previous to that, the leader of another Islamist group,
Cyrus McGoldrick, repeated the slogan on Facebook and Twitter. Except he
did not state it from the Middle East, he made it from the United
States.
McGoldrick is the Civil Rights Manager and spokesman for the New York
chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations or CAIR-New York.
The national organization of CAIR was founded in June 1994 as a part of
the umbrella group created by then-global Hamas leader Mousa Abu
Marzook. [Today, Marzook is the number two leader under Meshaal.] As
well, CAIR was named a party to Hamas financing by the U.S. Justice
Department for two federal trials against the Holy Land Foundation for
Relief and Development (HLF). CAIR had asked people to donate money to the terrorist HLF charity via CAIR’s national website.
For a sample of McGoldrick's statements,

As you might recall, the
Obama administration meets regularly with members of CAIR.

Holy Land convictions upheld on appeal

The convictions of five organizers of the Holy Land Foundation, a US-based foundation that raised money for the Hamas terror organization, have been
upheld on appeal by the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit (Hat Tip:
Memeorandum).
Ghassan Elashi, of Richardson, a Holy Land Foundation founder, received 65 years for support of Hamas, money laundering and tax fraud. Shukri Abu Baker, of Garland, who was Holy Land's CEO, received 65 years for support of Hamas, money laundering and tax fraud. Mufid Abdulqader, of Richardson, was a top volunteer fundraiser and sang about Hamas in a Palestinian band that played at fundraising rallies, received 20 years for conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization; conspiracy to provide funds, goods and services to a specially designated terrorist; and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Abdulrahman Odeh, who started Holy Land's office in New Jersey, received 15 years in prison for conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization; conspiracy to provide funds, goods and services to a specially designated terrorist; and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Mohammad El-Mezain, an imam who ran Holy Land's office in California, received 15 years in prison for providing support to Hamas.
The HLF, once the largest Muslim charity in the United States, had been under investigation for years before it was shut down by the Bush administration months after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
In their appeals, defense attorneys argued that the government's use of anonymous Israeli witnesses and other issues resulted in an unfair outcome for their clients, two of whom are serving 65-year sentences.
In today's opinion, Fifth Circuit Judge Carolyn Dineen King, writing on behalf of colleagues Emilio M. Garza and James E. Graves, Jr., noted:
"While no trial is perfect, this one included, we conclude from our review of the record, briefs, and oral argument, that the defendants were fairly convicted. For the reasons explained below, therefore, we affirm the district court's judgments of conviction of the individual defendants. We dismiss the appeal of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development."
The full opinion is
here.
Better hurry up and get the petition for certiorari denied before Obama can appoint a couple more justices to the Supreme Court.
By the way, if Obama, rather than Bush, had been in power on 9/11, does anyone really believe that the Holy Land Foundation would have ever been shut down?

Terror victims defeat US Department of Justice

A group of terror victims has won a victory against the US Department of Justice. The US District Court in Dallas, Texas has ruled that a newly enacted statute gives the
claims of terror victims precedence over the criminal forfeiture statute that turned terrorists’ assets over to the government until now.
In 2002, the Congress passed the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA), which provides, in part, that:Notwithstanding any other provision of law, … in every case in which a person has obtained a judgment against a terrorist party… the blocked assets of a terrorist party (including the blocked assets of any agency or instrumentality of that terrorist party) shall be subject to execution or attachment in aid of execution in order to satisfy such judgment ….
As such, the victims’ families countered that the newly legislated TRIA trumps the criminal forfeiture statute (as well as every other “provision of law”) and the terror victims’ rights overrides the DOJ’s.
No one had ever challenged the DOJ’s efforts under the criminal forfeiture statute using TRIA before and this case of first impression was brought before the Dallas district court. After a long litigation battle the court declared, in its precedent decision, that the victims’ families were correct and they were entitled to the Islamic terror group’s funds. The court ruled that putting seized terrorist assets into the hands of the terror victims truly furthers the congressional intent of the criminal forfeiture statute and of TRIA. It concluded that: “TRIA overrides any protection from execution the blocked HLF property might have due to criminal forfeiture law.”
Possibly more important than getting Hamas assets is the effect this ruling has on getting Iranian assets. For years, the US government has impounded Iranian assets under the criminal forfeiture statute, but the assets remain in government custody – and cannot be allotted to Iran’s terror victims – because of the criminal forfeiture statutes. Now, that may all be changing.
Heh.
The picture at the top is from the 1997 Ben Yehuda Street bombing.
