Must see video: With Open Gates: The forced collective suicide of European nations

I planned to post this yesterday, but was too busy with work. The Middle East is taking over Europe. Unfortunately for the Europeans, that isn't a reference to Israel and the Jews. It's a reference to Muslims coming from Middle Eastern, South Asian and African countries who are turning native Europeans into a minority with the cooperation and encouragement of Europe's chattering classes.

Let's go to the videotape. It's kind of long but worth watching.

With all this going on, the only thing that seems to concern the Europeans is barring products of 'Israeli settlements' - an act that is proven anti-Semitic by the fact that it is the only 'occupation' among some 200 worldwide that the Europeans have decided to address.

The European countries themselves are starting to reconsider the Schengen laws that allow persons to pass from one country to another, and it is time for other countries in the West - the United States, Canada (very little chance that will happen now that Trudeau has replaced Harper), Australia and yes, Israel, need to reconsider the admission of citizens of European countries without visas.

The world is changing in dangerous ways. Vigilance is necessary.

But not 'Palestine'?

Four Dutch NGO's - including the local branch of Oxfam - are laying off significant portions of their staff. But note where their activities are being cut back: In countries like Sudan and Rwanda where such activities are critical. Note where they're not being cut back: In 'Palestine' or 'Palestinian territories' where they're more political advocacy than humanitarian (Hat Tip: Mike P).
Minister Lilianne Ploumen of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation announced the cuts earlier this year. From January 1st 2016 the development aid organizations will be losing more than 80 percent of their government subsidy, going from about 50 million euros per year to between 7 and 15 million euros per year.
The Minister wants to limit subsidies to initiatives that helps people in third world countries defend their rights – something she calls “lobbying and advocacy”. She therefore largely stopped the subsidy for normal development, such as helping small farmers in Africa break into the local market. She called the cuts “painful”. But according to Ploumen, the world has changed and the importance of official development funds for the development of a country is decreasing. “It is also no longer the only funding stream”, she said when she presented the new policy, according to the Volkskrant. “Businesses now contribute in many ways. The concept of development aid will eventually disappear.”
This translates into layoffs for the four large development aid organizations. Hivos will be laying off 50 of its 145 employees at the Dutch office, Oxfam Novib will be laying off about 75 of its 325, Cordaid 69 of its 250 and Icco will lose 175 of its 350 employees. The organizations will also stop funding to projects all over the world next year. Hivos will be withdrawing support from, among others, a project to stop female genital mutilation in Iraqi Kurdistan – a project that is internationally regarded as successful. Icco is withdrawing from South Africa, Colombia, Peru and Brazil. Oxfam Novib is stopping all initiatives in Bangladesh, Rwanda, Sudan and Zimbabwe.
According to the four development aid organizations, focusing only on lobbying and advocacy is a risky strategy. “You only have legitimacy to lobby and advocate for something if you’re already active in the place”, Marinus Verweij, director of Icco, said to the Volkskrant. “Otherwise it is not credible.”
Priorities, man, priorities!

Choudhury trial date set for July 18

Arutz Sheva reports that Bangladeshi Muslim journalist Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury was in court yesterday and that a new trial date of July 18 was set in his case. As I have reported previously, Choudhoury faces trial for sedition (a capital offense) for encouraging his Muslim country to have cordial relations with Israel. Choudhury was arrested several years ago as he was about to leave for a speaking engagement in Israel, and was imprisoned and tortured for seventeen months. When he was released from prison he was beaten by a mob led by ruling party officials. While the government has changed since then, and the current government is willing to drop the charges, the State Prosecutor is insisting on continuing to press charges. Choudhury's brother told Arutz Sheva that the charges against him stem from 'rumors originating in Saudi Arabia:
“His country proclaims that Shoaib’s support for Israel is treason because it is in opposition to their policy and that is blasphemous, a charge they find convenient……..He is on trial because he writes plainly about the danger of extremist madrassas teaching children as young as five to hate Jews and Israel…..Shoaib works tirelessly for interfaith understanding. Bangladesh considers this treason and blasphemy."
