Not sure whether this is Route 1 or Route 443. The latter seems more likely.UPDATE 11:09 PM
In a tweeted response to me @LTCPeterLerner says that the bus was plying Route 443.
You might recall that Route 443 was closed to 'Palestinian' traffic during the intifada and reopened at the insistence of the 'Supreme Court' in 2010.

The bus was near the Dor-Alon gas station, which means it was probably on the long uphill heading towards Jerusalem.
