Senator Ted Cruz (R-Tx) blasts Abu Mazen

Shavua tov v'Shana tova u'Gmar Chatima Tova (a good week and a good year and a good seal - i.e. in the book of life).

Senator Ted Cruz (R-Tx) released a statement on Thursday blasting 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President ~~Mahmoud Abbas~~ Abu Mazen's speech to the United Nations General Assembly. This is from the first link.

“Israel's action in Gaza was the just self-defense of a sovereign nation against relentless attacks by radical Islamic terrorists," Sen. Cruz said. “The United States would and should do the same under those circumstances. Rather than bandying baseless accusations against Israel in the United Nations, the Palestinian Authority would do better to expose Hamas' vicious use of civilians as human shields, which is an actual war crime.”

I could not agree more. But then, why would anyone expect the 'Palestinian Authority' to do otherwise?
