The music is Oseh Shalom (He Who Makes peace) by Shtar, the photos are of those we lost over the past two months. The silver lining is that the video is three and a half minutes long - and not God Forbid longer. But looking at all the young lives we have lost over the past two months is heart-rending.

Many years ago, I heard from a rabbi in Jerusalem that one who attends the funeral of a young person need not learn Mussar (rebukes) for a month. The memory of a young person who died is enough to keep one's behavior in line.

Unfortunately, we have had too many young people die this summer.

I can only pray that the unity that has been fostered amongst the vast majority of Israeli Jews this summer will continue for a long time to come.
