Audio: Jewish man calls Sainsbury to complain about Kosher products' removal

After a Sainsbury’s Supermarket in the UK removes all Kosher food from its shelves because of a threat of a demonstration outside the store, Jonathan Sacerdoti calls Sainsbury’s Careline to ask what happened.

Let's go to the videotape.

Sainsbury's behavior is disgraceful.

In this instance, I think Sainsbury's aren't really to blame. The store manager decided to remove the products in order to prevent damage to the store and/or injury to staff. The store is set up to sell products to customers, not defend itself against a mob. In the heat of the moment, that was the decision that was made to try and defuse the situation. Should Sainsbury's sacrifice themselves to stand up for Jews? It would be a more morally courageous thing to do but that is not necessarily what the staff there signed up for.

Totally disagree with the above comment. They gave in to muslims threats, they bowed down to antisemitism. They have security and they could have called the police as this was a threat to civil order. Now the muslim/leftists self proclaimed sharia police have a victory, where a large public company willingly divested itself of Jewish products. Doesnt make any difference whether it was one shop. Now they will try it on more shops as they have seen bullying works.
