Who's in charge here anyway?

Israel's least popular minister is threatening to expel the Jewish Home party from the government if it does not play along with making 'peace' with the 'Palestinians.'
In a possibly veiled hint that he would break his coalition agreement with the pro-settlement right-wing Bayit Yehudi party, Lapid said he was that the coalition must be aware that his party "will see to it that those who seek to undermine the negotiations will pay a heavy political price."
"I'm determined to do everything within my power to ensure that this government stays the course - even if developments in the peace negotiations necessitate a coalition realignment of one kind or another," Lapid said.
But he also appeared to issue a warning to Netanyahu, reiterating that Yesh Atid, which has 19 legislators in the 120-member parliament and is the second-biggest party in the coalition, would not remain in a government that did not genuinely pursue a negotiated settlement.
"I am not ready to have Yesh Atid serve as a fig leaf for pointless political manoeuvring," he said.
Someone needs to remind this moron that he's not the Prime Minister.

But more significantly, someone needs to point out what a fool Naftali Bennett was to enter into a coalition with Lapid in the first place. You will recall that Bennett played the role of loyal puppy dog to Lapid, preventing any of the Haredi parties from joining the coalition because he had an agreement with Lapid.

Here's hoping they both pay a price in the next election.
