I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-). I have been happily married to the same woman for thirty-five years, and we have eight children (bli ayin hara) ranging in age from 13 to 33 years and nine grandchildren. How did they notice? After all they never did build a sewer system that would work.
Tunnels to smuggle terrorists and bombs; suicide bomb vests to kill Israeli teenagers in pizza parlors; "Pali" school textbooks that teach children to hate from kindergarten...
Speaking as a Christian Zionist, I just can't figure out why your neighbors haven't figured it out yet. Six million or so Israeli Jews, surrounded by a hundred million or so Muslim Arabs. And you beat the **** out of them in every war. David and Goliath.
The Koran has the first five books, the Torah, as it's beginning. I can't speak Arabic or ancient Hebrew, but it's pretty clear in English. Were I an Arab, I think I'd have figured it out by now, however reluctantly, that God is on the side of the Jews. His People, now and forever. So, they're not just fighting the Jews of Israel, they're fighting God. They AIN'T gonna win and the Iranians AIN'T gonna win. They ought to go to Las Vegas. Even playing against the House, they have a better chance.
