I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-). I have been happily married to the same woman for thirty-five years, and we have eight children (bli ayin hara) ranging in age from 13 to 33 years and nine grandchildren. Four of our children are married! Before I started blogging I was a heavy contributor on a number of email lists and ran an email list called the Matzav from 2000-2004. The NBC News video of her suicide bombing attempt is something I've seen many times. She'd gotten help for severe burns from some kind of a cooking accident in Gaza and then she tried to kill the Israelis who had saved her life in Israel (along with their patients).
She was stopped at a crossing between Gaza and Israel.
She tried to blow up her bomb while she was in the enclosed area where she was supposed to remove it. The bomb didn't go off until it was in a safe area, though.
She cried like a wailing baby at the end of the video and said that she wanted to live rather than die. Now, of course, she acts like some kind of hero.
There's a version of the video for this wailing, disgusting creature on YouTube with French subtitles but the audio is still in English.
Search for "La belle histoire de Wafa Al-Bass" to see what kind of a person our enemies promote as an example of a heroic woman. It's beyond disgusting.
Mass mental illness.
Thats the difference between Islam and Yahadut: Muslim love death and we jews embrace life.
