IDF blows up Gaza soccer field
Sorry this is taking a while - the internet is incredibly slow here today and I looked (unsuccessfully so far) for video of the soccer field being blown up. Hopefully later. You may recall that back in 2006, Israel caught hell from FIFA, the world soccer Federation, for blowing up Gaza's soccer stadium. In the end, FIFA actually paid to rebuild the stadium. One can only wonder if FIFA knew that rather than burying Jimmy Hoffa beneath the stadium, Hamas buried rocket launching sites, which were called into action last week. That was enough for the IDF to destroy the stadium again.
The IDF Sunday night bombed a Gaza City soccer field that camouflaged a Hamas underground missile launching site it used to attack Tel Aviv last Friday.
Use of the soccer field to attack Israel explains several Hamas claims in the past that Israel has attacked children playing soccer.
Covering an underground missile site with a soccer field is part of Hamas's strategy to use civilian sites for terrorist activities.
The strategy has been effective in causing deaths to civilians who live in homes that are used to house terrorists or serve as weapons depots.I'm sure you're all shocked....

The assertion that Gazans would jeopardize their children and their neighbors' children to shoot a few big bottle rockets across the border is amazing chutzpah even for hasbara. No evidence that is close to passing the stink test.
