Obama vows to file a lawsuit against Libyan attackers

Yes, that's US Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens being dragged through the streets of Benghazi on Tuesday night like a side of beef. And President Obama knows just how to deal with those Libyans: He's going to file a lawsuit.

Let's go to the videotape.

No, no, no. The solution isn't to 'work with the Libyan government to bring the attackers to justice.' It's to get up there with your drones and kill them. Otherwise it will happen in country after country. And that assumes that the Libyans will be cooperative - probably a huge assumption.

By the way, have there been any condemnations from Libya?

Hi Carl.
Judging from the picture the way his left arm is bended upwards he's still alive.

Very sad but somewhat predictable events.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out politically. Obama has pledged that those responsible "will be brought to justice." I'm sure he is NOT including himself. Hard to see how the U.S. can ensure "justice for the murderers" in a "country" suffused with Islamists from top to bottom.

A lawsuit?! A damn lawsuit?! A real President would be vowing that America will mete out the same punishment that America meted out to Bin Laden and that Israel meted out to the murderers of the Israeli Olympic athletes. A week, a month, a year, a decade, however long it takes and with whatever means it takes, America should be implacable and relentless in identifying, hunting down and killing all of them.

Or the solution is to pick up and leave. And come back with Flying Fortresses. The Libyan government, what there is of it, has expressed regret and apologized.
