30 years? 30 years!
My mother-in-law always says that the most important decision you make in life is whom you marry. And so, 30 years ago tomorrow afternoon was the most important day - and the best decision - of my life. Yes, tonight (since the Jewish day starts at night) and tomorrow mark 30 years since Mrs. Carl and I were married here in Jerusalem (even though we both lived in the US at the time). 30 years, 8 kids and 3 grandkids later, we're still going strong, bli ayin hara.So Happy Anniversary Mrs. Carl. I love you more and more every day.
And to think that some of the kids still think I'm 26 and she's 22. Heh.
The picture was taken at son #1, child #2's wedding three years ago.
UPDATE 10:48 PM
I forgot to mention that tonight is also the 12th birthday of son #3, child #6, which means that we are making a Bar Mitzva one year from tonight, God willing.
