Sacramento and Ashkelon now sister cities
Despite opposition from the pro-'Palestinian' community, the City of Sacramento decided on Tuesday night to make Ashkelon a 'sister city.' The vote was unanimous. The Sacramento City Council voted unanimously in favor of making Ashkelon, Israel Sacramento’s newest sister city Tuesday evening.Chalk one up for the good guys!
Thirty-nine speakers signed up to present their views before the vote, with 26 opposed and 13 in favor.

The Sister City Program is meant to “promote peace through mutual respect, understanding and cooperation.”
