I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-). I have been happily married to the same woman for thirty-five years, and we have eight children (bli ayin hara) ranging in age from 13 to 33 years and nine grandchildren. Obama is the anti American president. And this anti Americanism is the basic sentiment in play among the left and Obama supporters. It's not merely a matter of US foreign policy but internally as well. Obama is a president who literally is ashamed and angry at the existence of the US and its 240 year history. So whether Obama wins or loses Israel has to adjust to an America which largely though not in the majority, opposes the existence not only of Israel but of US itself and the west generally.
An additional question: Can the SW border states and Mexico survive four more years of Obama - Power plants being shut down, water rights being messed with, kids can be pulled out of school for abortions and sterilization without parental notification or consent, guns being spewed to gangbanger criminals on both sides of the border - all by the Obama team. Every day another disaster. And, given than people like the Euros (and Israelis?) have wanted Socialists to be in charge of the U.S for 4 decades that I know of personally, I can only say that all that is happening will take all of us to be able to pull out of it. If you guys in Israel defend yourselves and don't go along with Muslim Brotherhood promotions in exchange for Obama's green lawless slushfunding for your silence, then I think we'll get past this.
