Der Spiegel: Germany tipped off 3 weeks before Olympic massacre, covered up for 40 years
Germany's Der Spiegel reports in Sunday's Magazine (in German only) that West German police were tipped off three weeks before about a 'Palestinian' terror attack against Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics. On Sunday, Der Spiegel said it obtained hitherto secret reports by authorities, embassy cables and minutes of cabinet meetings that demonstrate just how amateurish the German officials were ahead of the September 5 attack, which also claimed the life of one German policeman.
According to Bonn’s official documentation of the event, the Palestinian Black September terror group carried out its deadly mission with “precision.” But the German authorities knew the Black September was a badly prepared group that barely managed to find hotel rooms in Munich, Der Spiegel stated.
As far back as August 14, 1972, three weeks before the massacre, the German Embassy in Beirut reported to Bonn that an informant had talked about Palestinian plans for “an incident” during the Olympics, according to the report. Four days later, the Foreign Ministry in Bonn told the secret service’s Munich branch about this and advised authorities to “take all possible security measures.”
Needless to say, the necessary security measures were never taken. The report revealed, for instance, that the terrorists were strolling by the apartments of the Israeli athletes without anybody stopping them from doing so.
All these facts are missing from the official documentation of the German government.
The official documentation also conceals the fact that the Munich prosecution investigated the city’s police chiefs for suspected negligent homicide, the magazine reported.
“Mutual accusations should be avoided, as well as self-criticism,” a Foreign Ministry official told a special cabinet session just two days after the deadly attack. “From that moment on, this apparently became the motto of the governments in Bonn and Munich,” the magazine wrote.
As awful as this sounds, I am still even angrier with the International Olympic Committee for their callous treatment of the families, both then and since.

The Baader Meinhoff gang/ Red Army Faction trained with the Olympic slaughterers. If the German govt knew, one of the Baader Meinhof people is probably where they heard about it ("an informant" in Bonn). I have NEVER had the least inkling that the German govt didn't help, or as is obvious in this "new" information, at least let them do it. I lived in Germany at the time, and the whole thing spilled over into Germany for months afterwards. Remember that the Baader Meinhof people stated that they were inspired by Herbert Marcuse's New Left murderous marxist theology. They killed about 50 people in their spoiled malcontent operations (kind of like the guy that just did Denver).

The Obama posse has been inspired also by the Marcuse/ Alinsky New Left theology... I heard (in person!) Marcuse say that only a few million uncooperative people would have to die to have their commie system instituted, because he had plans for their people to infiltrate all organizations, govt departments, education, etc. and bring it down from the inside.
We have to vote these people out! All Democrats - voted out! until their murderous party comes to its senses!
Can Germany be hauled into some international court? If there are any Germans who don't want their country to keep doing these mentally ill atrocities against Jews, you guys need to be the ones to sue your government. A lot of the people who did this are still around.
In the linked article, it says that the tip came from an informant in Beirut, not Germany. Read down in the comments, where somebody says that no one back then could imagine such an attack, so they didn't do security measures. Ha! R u kidding? In Germany, where they hauled millions of Jews out of their houses (just like the terrorists did at the Olympics!) and either slaughtered them in the street, in the forest, or gassed them and burned them.... no one in Germany could imagine horrors done to Jews? Sorry folks. And remember how the Euros handle these things... they do or allow done, then they say the Jews are greedy and aggressive in trying to find out who what where when why and get their stuff back. Just amazing. I bet there is still more unrevealed.
