Abu Mazen turned down partial terrorist release in return for coming to the table

'Moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen turned down an Israeli offer for a partial terrorist release in exchange for coming to the negotiating table. It's all or nothing for Abu Bluff.
Abbas insists that all 123 prisoners held since before the 1994 Oslo agreement be freed in a single release, Qaraqe said.

Israeli daily Haaretz reported earlier Monday that Israel offered to release some 25 Palestinian prisoners convicted of the murder of Israelis, followed by another 100 prisoners by the end of the year.

Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu would authorize the gesture during or after a direct meeting with Abbas, not before, the report said.

Netanyahu's spokesman Ofer Gendelman denied the report of the prisoners offer.
Yeah, sure. There'll be peace.... Someday.

The Israeli denials are patently unconvincing.

Why is it Israel is ALWAYS the one offering the Arabs unilateral "goodwill gestures?"

As long Israel behaves like a jilted suitor, expect the Arabs to keep turning Israel down.

Israel's leaders refuse to absorb the message the Arabs neither want nor need peace.

What could go wrong indeed
