Official London Olympics website: Jerusalem the capital of 'Palestine'; Israel has no capital
Here's a screen shot from the official London Olympics website as it was until Monday morning (Hat Tip: Tom Gross).
Tom Gross adds:
Unlike dozens of other disputed territories throughout the world, such as Tibet, Kurdistan or Baluchistan, Palestine is invited to participate in the Olympics as if it were already a nation state.Of course. None of those territories are connected to Jews.
Cheryl H points out that on the same London Olympics web site, Israel is part of Europe, while 'Palestine' (and Arab countries like Jordan and Syria) are part of Asia.
Maybe they're afraid we'll be offended if they place the Arab countries on the same continent as us?
Things haven't changed much in the last 40 years, have they?

Its not anti-Semitism - not at all!
If Israel had any self-respect, it would stay away from the Olympic Games.
Sadly, they'll send their athletes there this summer anyway and put up with the insulting treatment the Brits have dished out to them!

The Israeli government must not let this theft of our historical capital slide. Let's email and call-bombing the PM and FM's offices,MKs, Olympic officials, news media!!!

Perhaps I can help LOCOG with their Geopgraphy. I know the correct Capital City of every Nation taking part in the 2012 Games.
To demonstrate this I shall give you an example. The Capital City of Israel is, Jerusalem.
The Capital of Palestine is, unknown. The nation does not exist. If you are unsure, ask the United Nations or the C.I.A
