A century of Israeli high tech?
This video was put out by the Technion to celebrate the 100th anniversary of their ground breaking. It's a little pretentious (Zionists weren't the only Jews who dreamed of returning to the Jewish homeland and the Technion does not have sole proprietorship of Israeli high tech and never has), but it's still kind of neat to watch.Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: Debbie R).

"A little pretentious . . ." because Technion doesn't have the "sole proprietorship" over technology? So what! I guess the same might be said of M.I.T. when it celebrates a milestone in its history. But M.I.T. deserves its due and so does Technion, without whose graduates and contributions Israel and the world would be infinitely poorer.
As for the film, it's a beautiful piece, with wonderful images harmoniously synchronized to a perfect score. Thanks to Debbie R for sharing it. It reduced my wife and I to tears of pride. Who else but the Jews!
Israel, a world leader in science, medicine, technology. A diamond surrounded by a sea of Middle Eastern mud.
