What Muslims really want

This should make you feel all warm and fuzzy about your neighbors in the niqabs and the burkhas.

Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: Eli Tabori via Twitter, who tells me that this was (is?) her home town!)

I am SO glad I never took any of those airfares that involved flying into Luton and then taking the bus to Heathrow. What a creepy place!

I have to commend the courage of that young British woman. She was articulate and acted in a courageous and dignified manner. (Perhaps a little too courageous. I'm glad that video-camera was there, effectively acting as a bodyguard.)

As opposed to those boorish alien demonstrators, who by their own expressed views are not British, nor do they want to be British, except on the one day a month when the Govt mails out their welfare checks.

Ain't Multi-Culti wonderful?!

England is destined to have, and not in some vague far distant future either, Islamic Autonomous Zones. The government will eventually cave and give up whole towns and cities to Sharia where no civil and civic order resides or rules. You know it, I know it, we all know it. The upside, if there is one, is that when the tide of violence sweeps over England as a result it will engulf ordinary Brits almost all of whom are not Jewish. The Jews will hopefully make an exit and leave the Muslims and Labor and all the rest to slaughter each other to the last one standing. With any luck England will have gone broke by then and already abandoned its nuclear weapons. But in either case, when Britain implodes I will hold a public reading of Enoch Powell's "River of Blood" speech.

Well you're a bloody ray of sunshine, aren't you?

No surprise to see Anjem Choudray stirring the pot. Meanwhile we have Ken Livingstone running for mayor with a campaign pledge to turn London into a "beacon for Islam" and George Galloway running for Bradford with financial backing from some of the UK's most extreme Islamist groups.

Poor England, poor Europe.

I see the usual liars (CaptH the hypocrite who pretends George Habash and Kuntar are inspired by Islam) turn up to drool over Anjum Choudrey's banned group Al Muhajiroun

Again this is selective reporting. Stacy was reporting on a group that is banned in england. It was actually British Muslim groups that wanted this buffonish character Anjum Choudrey put out of business. He has little support amongst Muslims in the UK, and is a celebrity on the Islamophobia circuit only.

Matt above can confirm, that this Anjum character is a publicity hungry opportunist like Robert Spencer, he has had no Muslim education, and is not qualified to lead. He is a media whore.

Making a documentary about my hometown was always going to be the most difficult topic I had ever covered! No question. I have made documentaries about sex trafficking in Cambodia and child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but making a programme about Luton was different - it was personal.

I was born in Luton, I grew up in Luton and all my family and friends are still there. Luton is home for me.

It's been given a rough old time in the press. It is rumoured to have a fanatical few who are determined to use Islam as an excuse to justify some of their extreme beliefs and views.

This tiny minority used to be known locally to us as The Al-Muhajiroun, or the AMs. They were banned in 2010 under the UK Terrorism Act. My personal opinion is that these people do not represent what I understand Islam to be - at all.

I never really had an opinion about the Al Muhajiroun, I didn't really know enough about them. The only time I took real notice of them was when the troops were marching through the town and everyone had gathered to welcome them home

Fox’s favorite Muslim radical
How the media is enabling a buffoonish -- and notoriously press-hungry -- extremist
http://www.salon.com/2011/03/02/anjem_choudary_america/

Choudary is a London-based preacher who has over the past decade become the face of radical Islam in the British press — especially in the tabloids, and even more especially the right-wing papers owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. — despite having no religious credentials and virtually no public support. In fact, according to those who have tracked his career in Britain, Choudary is wholly a press creation.

“He’s a media whore,” says Mehdi Hasan, a senior editor at the New Statesman who has covered Choudary. “There are real Islamist groups that can get crowds together but his is not one of them. He doesn’t have the numbers to make good on his claims. What he does have is a media that’s very happy to play the game with him.”

---------

Choudary and some of his followers had advertised the event by leafletting for a week among the 20,000-strong Muslim population in the town, says Bunglawala, who has closely tracked Choudary’s career. But the turnout was vanishingly small. “Literally only 20 people showed up and yet they got the front pages of just about every right-wing tabloid the next day. Even the BBC gave them a lot of coverage on that.” Bunglawala observes: “It’s almost a symbiotic relationship between Choudary and the right-wing papers.”

Choudary also has a long history of publicizing demonstrations that never actually happen. In 2009, for example, he planned a “March for Sharia” in central London that drew widespread press attention. The promotional effort included Photoshopped images of what Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square would look like under Choudary’s vision of the caliphate, with minarets and the like. But at the last minute, he canceled the event, claiming threats from right-wing groups.

None of this has stopped the tabloids from regularly calling Choudary to weigh in on pretty much anything in the news. There is, for example, this typical lead from a recent Daily Star piece: “Hate preacher Anjem Choudary last night urged a Muslim uprising against the royal wedding … He said it would be against Islam for Muslims to celebrate the nuptials.”

Choudary does his part by making himself extremely easy to reach; his mobile phone number is posted all over his website and he responded to my e-mail seeking an interview in just a few hours. He even once agreed to have a bull session over milkshakes with Vice Magazine, which noted his favorite flavor is chocolate.

Carl, even your buddy Melanie Phillips will confirm that this cartoon character's followers are mainly from the Islamophobia industry. Glad to find someone who will say what they want Muslims tosay, they promote him. Like you are doing.

He is no scholar or leader of Islam. He is on state benefits, and has found a way to make money and get publicity.

He and his various extremist groups (each time one is banned he forms another) has been condemned by every Muslim group in Britian.

There are those who believe he is a plant put in by the enemies of Islam, if that is true, right wing Zionists are probably behind it.

There are also those, who say he is an M15 and M16 plant to flush out extremists.

As I said in the other thread, Britian and Europe are better at combatting terrorism, because they understand how to defeat it.

If he is actually a government plant to flush out extremists, it could be one of the reasons why Britian tops the US in fighting these extremists.

Choudary has received little support from the mainstream Muslim community,

Empress Trudy,

You are ignorant of the facts. Judaism is flourishing in the UK and in Europe. In fact a senior Jewish leader said the rise of Islam helped Jews come out of their shell and Jewish culture thrives.

Matt, why don't you tell them, instead of keeping silence when you hear thse lies? If you live in England you should know that.

Chayma, if you wish to disassociate yourself with this murderous ideology that is the enemy of England and civilisation in general then you could start by being a bit nicer to our friends the Israelis. Stopping the shameful abuse directed the owner of this blog would be a very good start.

If you can't do that then I'm afraid you're every bit as bad as Choudray.
