What Barack Hussein Obama and Khaled Meshaal share

Shavua tov, a good week to everyone.

US President Barack Hussein Obama and Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal share something (actually someone) who is very dear to both of them. No, it's not Michelle. It's Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan who is a dear friend of both of them (Hat Tip: Joshua I).

Palestinian Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal has paid a surprise visit to Ankara for talks on Palestinian reconciliation and the Middle East.

Mashaal met with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at 2 p.m. (12:00 p.m. GMT), the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported. Erdoğan said the meeting would mainly focus on Palestinian reconciliation.

“There are positive developments regarding relations between Hamas and al-Fatah. We will primarily assess these developments,” Erdoğan told reporters, adding that regional issues will also be discussed.
So President Obama's self-proclaimed best friend among Middle East leaders is attempting to bring about reconciliation between the 'good terrorists' from Fatah and the 'bad terrorists' from Hamas in direct contravention of US policy.

What could go wrong?

He's probably doing it with Obama's support, if not at his request. Obama has not once indicated that this so-called reconciliation is not acceptable, in fact he's rewarded Abbas and the PA for it. The man is a snake.
