Obama tells 'Palestinians' to sit tight until after the elections
President Obama has advised the 'Palestinians' to sit tight until after the elections. If Obama wins, he will essentially be a lame duck for the next four years, and will be able to pressure Israel to make more 'concessions' to the 'Palestinians' (not to mention that there will likely be a price to pay to the 'Palestinians' if the US attacks Iran on Israel's behalf) (Hat Tip: Jack W).President Barack Obama has told the Palestinians to sit tight during a U.S. election year, while holding out the promise of a serious push for Palestinian statehood if he wins a second term, the Palestinian foreign minister said Friday. What could go wrong?

It may be politically risky for Abbas to be seen as just marking time until November.

It would in no way be politically risky for Abbas to wait. Why would it be? His entire career has been nothing more than standing around with his hat in his hands. The one we do have going for us though is when Obama tries to affix his name to the plaque of people who forever tried to eradicate the Jewish state, and I believe he will, not only will he lose Congress he will lose Congress for generations and may very well be the last Democratic President in my lifetime.
Hi Carl.
I remember a similar statement going around at the time of the veto treath. You know the saying "where there's smoke, there's fire." in Hussein case i would yes for sure he told them this. That's why he's holding that $ 700 Miilion behind for the "Arab Spring" to launch the Palestinian statehood.
You can't trust the man, i wouldn't believe him if he told me the sun will rise tomorrow.
