Anti-Assad demonstrators are also anti-Semitic

The mainstream media is ignoring it, of course, but many of the demonstrators in Damascus, Homs and other cities in Syria are anti-Semitic (Hat Tip: Yonatan H).
While Assad has claimed repeatedly that Zionists in league with Al Quaeda are behind the demonstrations against his regime, the demonstrators themselves have dubbed Assad as a Jewish/Zionist stooge. But the bizarre anti-semitism has been taken a step further by the Syrian demonstrators. Take a close look at the photo here from yesterday's Times. The caption says that "demonstrators show their contempt for President Assad.." because it is a large image of his face they are trampling on. But at the bottom right (enlarged) you can see part of another face they are trampling on. It is actually that of Hassan Nasrallah - head of Hezbollah - who is Assad's client in Lebanon. Since the demonstrators have drawn a Star of David on Nasrallah's head they clearly believe that he too is a Jewish/Zionist stooge. And of the course the Times makes no comment at all about this.
And you wonder why our government is doing its best to stay out of the Syrian civil war.

There are no good guys in that war.
I do only hope that Kurds and Druzes will remain outside this bloodbath.

Ever lucid and erudite huh Shyguy? I guess it's expecting too much to expect you to write a coherent sentence. Grunt and snarl..and explain the below.

Syria is influenced by France, so is Lebanon. Hence the anti-semitism. Not helped by the Israeli occupation.

the Israeli army'sCentral Region Command in which the chief chaplain writes: "When our forces come across civiliansduring a war or in hot pursuit or a raid, so long as there is no certainty that those civilians are incapable ofharming our forces, then according to the Halakhah (the legal system of classical Judaism) they may andeven should be killed ... In no circumstances should an Arab be trusted, even if he makes an impressionof being civilised ... In war, when our forces storm the enemy, they are allowed and even enjoined by theHalakhah to kill even good civilians, that is, civilians who are ostensibly good."
