I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-). And you guys own bunches of that land in more ways than by responding to being attacked. Didn't you have a post saying that Israel (or someone) paid Syria for the Golan Heights? And how about all the purchases of land by Jews from Ottoman Turks before WW I? And from other land owners since then? What about all the land bought by JNF? Title search database! With GIS layers showing ownership by year! With links to historical info and documents! Rick Santorum could use the info to expand his excellent argument... did you notice the deer-in-the-headlights look on that kid's face? Total brainwash has occurred in his education. No compare and contrast. No critical thinking... No reading of older books. Ugh.
It just crosses my mind that it would be interesting to see Rick Santorum asking this kid, "how big is Israel" and "what is Israel's population". Because I bet this kid is thinking Israel is about as big as the U.K. or Germany, rather than that it is like New Jersey, with a slim waist that you can pretty much see all the way across. Most people listening to the general Left brainwash have absolutely no idea, and actually would resist accepting the facts of it if someone told them. You can see him rejecting the facts that Santorum is telling him.
