Mossad dressed up as CIA to recruit anti-Iranian terror operatives?
Before I start this post, I'm going to warn you to take the article I'm linking with a grain of salt. The author, Mark Perry, is a former adviser to Yasser Arafat who has a history with stories related to Israel (see also here and here). This time, Perry is reporting that Mossad agents posed as CIA agents to recruit Jundallah terrorists to carry out missions in Iran. According to Perry, this happened between 2007 and 2009, the Bush administration was furious about it - but did nothing - and Obama put a stop to it when he took office in 2009. You can read all about it here (Hat Tip: Memeorandum). The sources for the story are said to be unnamed, retired CIA officers, plus former Centcom chief Joe Hoar. Hoar is a vehement opponent of Israel (and of American involvement in Iraq, by the way), who cannot even acknowledge that George Marshall opposed recognition of the Jewish state out of anti-Semitism. Make sure you read that entire last link for the context.
Bottom line: I find it hard to believe that the Mossad did something like this (and it goes without saying that the Mossad isn't commenting but the CIA isn't either). I find it hard to believe that the CIA is turning over its internal memoranda to Mark Perry for publication. And the timing does seem a little odd, doesn't it?
But if the Mossad did this and got away with it, they're pretty smart guys.

This has massive coverage as the absolute gospel truth over at Huffington Post. It really brought the nazis out.
Don't believe it. There is no need to pretend to be CIA to recruit these guys. It's like recruiting Mafia crews for wet work: they don't give a flying fart. That some old ex-CIA Jew-baiting senescent mumbling doddeer once worked for the Company says zippo. It is exactly red shark chum for the paleo-Nazis.
There's a great rebuttal to this preposterous story at http://www.jewishideasdaily.com/content/module/2012/1/18/main-feature/1/our-defenders-at-the-cia. Perry was Arafat's adviser for years, so I don't think we should believe anything he says.
