Give bloggers a press pass?
More than two years ago, Prime Minister Netanyahu's press secretary told a bloggers' conference that he would look into issuing press cards to each and every Israeli blogger. Two years later, the government is now taking a survey to see whether the public wants that to happen.Of course, the article is in Hebrew, but if you go here, you can vote anyway - the green up arrow at top left of the post is in favor of issuing passes, the red down arrow is against. Right now, it's 75-15 in favor.

Do they want "voters" from outside Israel? :) I assume they could take out the non-Israel votes by the origination number or whatever it is?
This is an old topic... any idea where the issue stands at the moment? Just made aliyah; I'd love credentials.
