Dagan rips Shalit deal

Former Mossad director Meir Dagan had some rather sharp comments on the terrorists for Gilad trade on Wednesday.
Former Mossad chief Meir Dagan on Wednesday spoke out against the deal by which Israel agreed to free 1,000 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for Gilad Schalit, saying that the price paid for the soldier's release was "problematic."

Speaking at a conference in Tel Aviv, Dagan stated that while he was happy that Schalit was back in Israel, he characterized as "exaggerated" the soldier's welcome in Israel as a hero.

"I'm not sure that I liked the fact that the prime minister stood and received him. That seems like a bit of a problem to me, that he was presented as a hero," Dagan said.
I doubt most Israelis would disagree.
