'Like Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu'
It was widely publicized on Monday (at least in the US) that singer Hank Williams Jr. was pulled from Monday Night Football because he compared President Obama to Hitler. What was not widely publicized was that Israel also had a role in this.Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: Lance K).
Williams has since 'apologized' but ESPN has not yet said whether Williams will be asking people whether they are ready for some football next Monday night.
I don't like Obama either, but the comparison to Hitler was way out of bounds. Obama hasn't set up death camps for any minority in the US, nor for the Republican majority, nor has he started a World War. (And if he does start a World War - which admittedly is a possibility - it's more likely to be out of misguided good intentions than with the intent of trying to rule the world).

Actually, I think he was talking about the distance between two sides rather than comparing Obama to Hitler. He was saying that two people getting together were as far apart ideologically as the world's most famous mass murderer of Jews and the current Prime Minister of the Jewish state.
It's like saying that two sides are light years apart. It's a metaphor with a Jupiter-sized dash of hyperbole, so to speak.
It was a very bad choice of metaphor for him to use in public, but I don't think he meant to equate Obama with Hitler.
Carl,
I think you're a bit off on this and I agree with the comment above--it was an analogy--like on any SAT test...in the context of the interview it made perfect sense and he was not comparing him to hitler he was saying that boehner had let the conservatives down....pretty clear cut to me...until the leftist media gets ahold of it
