This idea is not too bright
Israel's Ministry of Diaspora Affairs has decided to erect a 'dialogue tent' outside the United Nations during the vote on the 'Palestinians' unilateral declaration of independence. The Israeli Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, which is headed by Yuli Edelstein, has decided to erect a 'tent' in front of the United Nations HQ building in New York starting on September 22, 2011. He has called it a 'dialogue tent', with the purpose of explaining Israel's position regarding the Palestinian action of seeking support recognition of a unilateral declaration of statehood.Let's go to the videotape.
There were no details as to who will be manning this tent, nor if there will be other items on the agenda, but a very short release in Israel National News indicated that discussion groups will be hosted on topics such as 'The importance of dialogue in the Middle East,' and 'Pluralism, democracy and freedom of expression in Israel.'
Interestingly, a similar, very short press release came through French press, which included a snapshot of the word 'Hasbara', which is Israel's propaganda machine.
You are urged to listen to MK Edelstein in the accompanying video to get an understanding of how this might work.

What a great idea: A focal point for all the anti-Israel demonstrations at the UN. What could go wrong?

Diaspora Affairs? A tent in NYC. What a natural. I'm trying to remember whether I've ever seen such a tent out in the hinterlands of the diaspora... can't remember seeing that. Surely, it would be a dull enterprise for them.
It's official: US: we'll veto UNSC UDI--we can't stop General Assembly move:
