Pollard undergoing surgery

Convicted Israeli agent Jonathan Pollard was removed from his prison cell in North Carolina on Tuesday for urgent surgery (Hat Tip: NY Nana).
Incarcerated Israeli agent Jonathan Pollard was temporarily taken out of his North Carolina prison on Tuesday to undergo an urgent surgical procedure needed because of severe lung problems.

Last week, Pollard asked visiting ambassador Michael Oren Tuesday to plead his case before US President Barack Obama "before it's too late."
JPost describes the surgery differently.
Israeli agent Jonathan Pollard was temporarily taken out of his North Carolina prison on Tuesday to undergo an urgent surgical procedure.

Pollard's surgery was described as "very urgent" and is intended to correct a myriad of problems he is suffering from, especially with his kidneys.
Please pray for Yonatan ben Malka.

Carl, this is one hat tip I wish I didn't get. I am so angry about this. It is a disgrace. I prayed for a Refuah Shlema for him, but the Jerusalem post article is even more dire than the Arutz Sheva article. I hope that he will be allowed to go home to Israel, where he belongs. I wonder if Bibi will make any comment.

He is getting medical care.

All of this might have been more carefully considered by Pollard and his handlers before he was recruited, before he decided to keep his top secret American security clearance while performing as an "Israeli agent", before Israel panicked and locked him out of the embassy.

His home at the time was the United States.
