Disaster averted
Police chief Yochanan Danino says that there were over 1,000 teenagers in the Tel Aviv nightclub that was targeted just before 2:00 am on Monday morning, and credits border police for preventing further casualties. He added that police force would continue to be deployed in the coming weeks in its current form.In other words, another miracle happened.
"The preparations are what allowed tens of officers to tackle the terrorist, who is now being questioned," Danino said.
Seven people were injured in the attack, when a terrorist from the West Bank carjacked a taxi and rammed it into a police road block protecting a Tel Aviv nightclub, before going on a stabbing spree.
Police said the terrorist, a Nablus resident in his 20s, entered a taxi near the beginning of Salameh Street, and carjacked the driver, stabbing him in the hand, according to police. He then drove for approximately a kilometer down Salameh Street towards the Haoman 17 nightclub, which was filled with high school children at an end-of-summer party.

The Talmud says Jews shouldn't rely on miracles.
A more pertinent question is how this Arab managed to get past the separation barrier into Israel without any one noticing it or stopping him.
People were very fortunate in Tel Aviv last night.
Did this guy have a bomb or a gun? or just the taxi and a knife... You've got a lot of people (not so much the high school kids yet, though, but maybe even a bunch of them) who are trained up to stop people like this guy. I wish the U.S. had more civilians who would know how to stop someone like this. BTW, when we visited Tel Aviv, our hotel window faced out onto the lovely beach with the bombed out shell of the Dolphinarium. Everyone needs to go visit over there... it forms your view to see the reality separate from what the lying media tells you.
