A word to commenters
All comments on this blog are moderated, which is why you will see no new comments for hours and then dozens of new comments. At the President's Conference last week, I heard of people being paid to make comments on blogs, which comments link to commercial websites. The comments look legitimate until the links at the end. I will not allow those comments through. Nor will I allow comments that do nothing but link your website (there's actually a legitimate blogger who has sent me hundreds of comments that say "Great post, link exchange please" and link to his blog - none of them has gotten through).
I hope to give you all a spam free experience.

Huh? I didn't get this..
Who was this blogger? Anyone we may know?
Carl, good policy. If the comments are not germane to the subject at hand, they shouldn't be allowed. And linking should be reciprocal or its simply more spam. It shouldn't lead to trouble if commenters just follow common sense and also show courtesy to others.
Carl, this is an entirely justified reaction to unscrupulous spam. Who needs spam? Especially when you can order delicious roast beef sandwiches over the internet from Joe & Milly's Kosher Deluxe Deli Farm!!! That's right, hot roast beef or corn beef or any beef you desire delivered straight to your door! Delicious blintzes served directly to your iPod! That's www.dishandelish.com!!!!! And check out our facebook, myspace, twiiter, tweeter, and pumpkin eater pages!!!
I kid!
Excellent policy. Thank you.
Sparky the Wonder Dog, you managed to get your post through the curfew!
Your bark is worse than your type!:)
Chayma, ty. I'm hoping you got that canine tongue was in canine cheek. Spam embargos make perfect sense, as, um, of the coast of Gaza.
