Complaint filed in Greece says 'Audacity of Hope' not seaworthy
A complaint filed in a Greek court claims that the American ship Audacity of Hope, which is scheduled to participate in the upcoming Flotilla of Fools, is not seaworthy. The 'Palestinian' Ma'an news agency reports.Organizers of the second Freedom Flotilla say that an administrative complaint has been filed against the US Boat to Gaza, claiming that the vessel is not seaworthy.Greece has also advised boat captains to stay away from Gaza, but thus far has not barred them from sailing there. Cyprus announced on Thursday that it would not allow boats to sail to Gaza from Cyprus.
This could delay or altogether prevent the "Audacity of Hope" from leaving Athens.
The harbor master received notification of the complaint Thursday afternoon, two days after a group of suspicious persons showed up at the ship and began asking questions of the crew members, at one point offering money for the members to leave the ship unattended.
The complainant is unknown and a Greek lawyer representing the flotilla is working to obtain more details.
Israel Radio reported at Midnight that one of two French boats whose departure to Gaza was being blocked by the French government left Corsica to join the flotilla on Saturday.
The flotilla is expected to depart this week.

The Flotilla Of Fools is running into problems. Until they get them resolved (if they ever do) don't look for them to set sail in the coming week.
