Rift between Ahmadinejad and Khameni is growing
There are signs that the rift between Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Iranian spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khameni is widening. Allies of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad were arrested this week for being "magicians" and invoking spirits, Iranian website reported on Wednesday.Heh.
Ahmadinejad's chief of staff Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei as well as other people close to the Iranian president were accused of invoking djinns.
One of the arrested men, Abbas Ghaffari, was called "a man with special skills in metaphysics and connections with the unknown worlds," Iranian news site Ayandeh reported.
