Guess who's coming to Israel in July

Would you believe he's almost 70? That's why I've heard of him....

Let's go to the videotape to see who's coming to Israel this summer.

Yup. Paul Simon.
Legendary American singer-songwriter Paul Simon is expected to perform at the Ramat Gan Stadium in July, Ynet has learned. An official announcement on the concert will likely be issued in the coming weeks.

Simon, who will celebrate his 70th birthday in October, will arrive in Israel as part of a concert tour promoting his new, critically acclaimed album "So Beautiful or So What", which the singer considers his best in the past 20 years.

...

This will be Simon's third concert in Israel. He first came here in 1978 for a solo gig, and returned in 1983 with Art Garfunkel as part of the Simon & Garfunkel duo.
He hasn't been here since 1983.... Wow....

Okay, one more song. Let's go to the videotape.

Someone please tell me this is going to be before the 17th of Tamuz (when the three weeks we don't listen to music at all start).

Anyone think I should take Mrs. Carl and liveblog it?

P.S. Garfunkel's uncle used to go to the same synagogue as me when I was in law school.
