'Only' one third of 'Palestinians' approve of Fogel massacre

Forgive me for the headline, but given the level of incitement in the 'Palestinian Authority' I'm surprised the level isn't higher. And in any event, I believe it's understated.

In a survey carried out jointly by Israeli and 'Palestinian' pollsters, approximately one third of the 'Palestinians' admit that they approve of the brutal murders of Udi, Ruti, Yoav, Elad and Hadas Fogel HY"D (may God avenge their blood) in their home in Itamar last month.
Official Palestinian Authority daily:
"63% of the Palestinians oppose and 32% support the attack in the Itamar settlement in the West Bank in which a family of five was murdered."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, April 7, 2011]

The poll was conducted jointly by the Harry S. Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research in Ramallah.

The poll surveyed 1,270 Palestinians from both the West Bank and Gaza and 601 Israelis on their attitudes to recent uprisings in the Arab world, the renewal of Israeli-Palestinian violence and conflict management, peace initiatives and threat perceptions.
Does anyone still believe 'peace' is at hand?

The rest of them, I don't think opposed the slaughter on moral grounds - just that it wasn't the right time to do it.

But as we saw yesterday the Palestinians have no real problem with slaughtering Jewish kids when the opportunity presents itself.

No - peace is not at hand. Not in our lifetime.
