Obama buddy calls on 'Palestinians' to 'fire' the 'Palestinian Authority'

Some of you may recall that Barack Hussein Obama has a close friend named Ali Abunimah. Abunimah, like Obama's pastor Jeremiah Wright, became a liability to him during the course of the Presidential campaign. So Obama doesn't talk to them much anymore. Abunimah became a liability because he runs a little website called Electronic Intifada, which is supported by European governments, which is virulently anti-Semitic and which seeks to destroy the Jewish state.

Abunimah is holding a rally on Monday outside the offices of the 'PLO mission to the United States.' The purpose of the rally is to 'fire' the 'Palestinian Authority.'

I agree that the 'Palestinian Authority' is illegitimate (their term expired two years ago) and incompetent. But with what does he propose to replace them?

Suspend and terminate the Oslo Accords

Dissolve the Palestinian Authority – Abbas must resign
*
End the Blockade of Gaza
*
End all security arrangements with Israel
*
Release all Palestinian political prisoners from Palestinian jails
*
Unify the resistance – Build a national platform upon which to coalesce Palestinian political parties and formations in their resistance to apartheid, colonialism and ethnic cleansing

In other words, prepare to destroy Israel (God forbid).

This shows once again that democracy consists of more than holding elections. Imagine if the US had just held elections without the constitution, the Federalist papers and the bill of rights. Imagine if Israel had just held elections without adopting a legal framework. I don't know what the result would have been, but it would not have been democracy.
