Great news: Obama and Clinton aren't giving up

Prime Minister Netanyahu is heading to Egypt to meet with Egyptian President Mubarak... to appease the Obama administration.
Political sources revealed on Saturday that the United States government is continuing attempts to push Israel and the Western-backed Palestinian Authority to renew talks towards an Israeli retreat from the Judea and Samaria regions. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is reportedly traveling to Egypt where he will meet with President Hosni Mubarak to discuss the issue.

"We believe an agreement can be reached through negotiations alone," the sources said. "The prime minister is going to Egypt to try to formulate an outline for this."
What could go wrong?

Jews and the Palis don't get along it's true, but still the US keeps tick tocking between desperate Islamic appeasement and desperation pure and simple--maybe there is something in here for both sides: like, ah, the Palis get Disneyland, WalMart, the bits of California, Texas, and Arizona Mexico isn't already using, etc. and Israel get Natalie Portman and their own nuclear deterrent ... what?

Nothing will happen in 2011. The Palestinians won't negotiate. Netanyahu can give them the moon but there will be no recognition of Israel as a Jewish State and no peace.

What could go wrong indeed
