New Jewish cemetery in Riga desecrated
The new Jewish cemetery in Riga was desecrated with swastikas on Monday night.Vandals overnight have desecrated over 100 gravestones in New Jewish Cemetery on Lizuma Street in Riga. White swastikas were painted on them, writes LETA.Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: Will via Anti-Semitism.org)
A cemetery security guard noticed the tainted gravestones this morning, and notified the police.
The State Police and the Riga City Council were informed immediately.

This same cemetery was desecrated in September of 2003, and the guilty parties received suspended sentences in 2005.
