The NIF tries to change the subject
In an earlier post, I took the New Israel Fund to task for supporting organizations that support the BDS (boycott, divest, sanction) movement.Like everyone else who tweeted on that subject, I got a tweet back urging me to read an article about the New Israel Fund. The article was about why we don't have to use BDS to oppose the 'occupation,' unless, of course, we're talking about applying the treatment to the 'settlements.'
Obviously, that answer begs the question: Why does the New Israel Fund support organizations that advocate for BDS? I have not gotten a satisfactory answer, nor do I expect to get one.

Israeli Leftists don't want to explain why they're assisting the boycott of their own country. And the Strauss Group, Israel's second largest food manufacturer thinks supporting the IDF is terrible for its business abroad.
Go figure.
