The 'landlord' won't sign the 'lease'
The reason I still hold out hope that Prime Minister Netanyahu is 'only' calling the 'Palestinians' bluff with ridiculous proposals like leasing land in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria is that the 'Palestinians' can always be relied upon to reject such proposals out of hand anyway. A senior Palestinian Authority (PA) official absolutely rejected a proposal reported last week that Israel lease lands in the PA state to be created as a way of getting talks between the two sides moving again. Interviewed by the Saudi newspaper Okhan, the official noted that the PA would not agree to any proposal outside the framework of the Saudi plan or the American Roadmap for Peace adopted by the Quartet of Middle East peace broker nations.Someone needs to ask Hong Kong what happens when 100 years are up. Of course, there, no one planned to kick out the local population when the 100 years ended.
The lease precedent was established in the peace agreement between Israel and Jordan in 1994. Lands in the Arava and Naharayim areas are being leased for dozens of years to solve security and economic problems.

Thank G-d the Palestinians are preventing Israel from committing national suicide.
Its not like the Stupid Jews haven't tried hard enough to do it but the enemy keeps on refusing to help them out of their misery.
What could go wrong indeed
