Your biased media article of the day
Here's a headline from Wednesday's Christian Science Monitor.
But wait: Look at what the first sentence of the article says:
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is now in political limbo after having staked his career on the questionable proposition that a viable Palestinian state can be achieved through negotiations with Israel.Even assuming Abu Mazen has 'staked his political career' on the negotiations, is reporter Ben Lynfield trying to suggest that a 'viable Palestinian state' ought to be achieved in a way other than negotiations? Didn't Arafat try that and get 1,000 Israelis and several thousand 'Palestinians' killed? Is that not enough for Lynfield and the Monitor?
