Why Israelis don't just pull their guns when they get stoned
I know that a lot of you read stories about Jewish drivers who find themselves under attack by Arabs and wonder why the Jews don't just pull guns and shoot - even in the air. Here's why. Shmuel Cytryn of Nachliel was ordered on Sunday to give his gun to the police "as a gift" following his conviction for a 2007 incident in which he tried to stop two Arabs who stoned his car and smashed his windshield as he drove with his son Shimshon. Shmuel told Israel National News on Monday that the Arabs tried to run his vehicle off the road and over a steep embankment. The Arabs accused Shmuel of loading his gun and aiming it at them, while he claims he never took the unloaded gun out of its holster.If you're a Jew, you risk arrest and worse if you defend yourself against an Arab attack. So the best thing you can do - if it's at all possible - is to hightail it out of there.
Cytryn was given a half-year suspended sentence and put on probation for three years. He says he faces charges from incidents in Gush Katif before the Israeli pullout in 2005, and charges could be pending from an incident a week and a half ago when he and another son confronted Arabs who were stealing 50-60 of his 200 sheep. Shmuel says one of the thieves stabbed Meir David with a screwdriver.

Wasn't it the British who made it illegal for Jews to defend themselves against Arab attack and own guns. I thought the State of Israel replaced the British mandate...silly me
Time for American law...
Just shoot the attacker TO DEATH...
Call the police...
State the obvious,
"there has been a shooting"
"i have never been so afraid in my life for my life"
I want the attackers arrested EVEN IF DEAD
If the attackers are dead, it's hard for them to counter sue...
So dont take an unloaded weapon out to scare an attacker...
EMPTY a CLIP into the attackers...
Reload and do it again...
It wont take to many times til the attackers learn to fear...
What about throwing a grenade?
In post-survivalist Israel - the Left has made it difficult for Jews to defend themselves and every one in Israel knows you stand as good as convicted in court if you're not on the Left.
That's just the way its been in Israel for a long time and that's the way it will be for the foreseeable future. The Ehud Baraks get a different standard of justice than the Margalit Har Shefis - or Shmuel Cytryns do.
American Law? What are you talking about? NYC? Chicago? Any other big city? If you're involved in a shooting in the states, you WILL be arrested and even if you're not charged or convicted, you will be sued, if not by your attacker, then by his family. If you live in Texas, Florida, etc you're in better shape obviously, for now.

I noticed that the film gave voice to those who preferred nonviolent struggle over unarmed struggle, but one of the titles in the film implicitly conceded that the barrier route was changed after months of unarmed struggle. ("Unarmed" allows the throwing of rocks.) The demonstrations usually start out as nonviolent but, if necessary, switch to unarmed protest as a defensive measure against the IDF's violent measures to disperse the population. (This is a large topic; my own view is that hurling rocks is morally justified in a situation when there is a threat to your person by an occupying army who wishes to disperse violently a demonstration; the decision to hurl rocks then becomes a tactical and not a moral one. But this issue was not discussed in the film.)
you see...its "tactical" when arab terrorists try to kill you in your vehicle....dont take it personally
