'Moderate' 'Palestinian' President Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas indicated Thursday that he intends to step down from his post if peace talks with Israel fail, Army Radio reported.As we used to ask when I was a kid, is that a promise or a threat?
Speaking at a Palestinian National Council meeting in Jordan, Abbas said that it is possible he will only serve as PA President for one more week, according to the report.

The PA president reiterated that the Palestinians will not continue direct talks if building in the settlements continues, Israel Radio reported.
In the meeting with PLO figures, Abbas demanded an official commitment to renew the building moratorium.
The PA leader reportedly claimed that the Palestinians gave all the guarantees and fulfilled all their commitments, but Israel has not taken one step towards peace.

Will he just resign already?
No one respects him - not the Palestinians, not the Israelis and certainly not the Americans.
This is not the behavior of a stable personality or of a responsible peace partner.
Abu Bluff is like a kid who wants every thing his way and lashes out when he finds out life is not going to cater to his every whim.
Its time for him to grow up!
