England and Spain boycotting OECD tourism conference in Jerusalem
The more you read of this article, the more it will upset you. I guarantee it.The OECD is holding a tourism conference in Jerusalem the week after next. Two members are refusing to come because it's in Jerusalem - England and Spain. The self-righteous Brits deny that they're boycotting, because they don't do boycotts. The government whose Prime Minister called Gaza 'the world's largest prison camp' claims that the 'right people' aren't available to come. How does that bull dung smell?
It gets worse. Normally, OECD tourism conferences are held in Paris, because with that option available, why would anyone want to go anyplace else? To get the conference to Jerusalem, Israeli officials had to agree not to take the visitors to 'east' Jerusalem, and not to even mention 'east' Jerusalem. But our government believes they're not acting like dhimmis, because they refused to move the conference to Tel Aviv. Wait until they find out that the only modern roads between the airport and Jerusalem all pass through Samaria. Yes, even the main Jerusalem - Tel Aviv highway crosses the 1949 armistice lines around Latrun. But just for about eight kilometers.
Of course, all that's not good enough for the 'Palestinians' who continue to urge everyone to boycott. As if the 'Palestinians' don't benefit from tourism to Israel in general and to 'east' Jerusalem in particular.
What could go wrong?

No reason to get so upset. Britain and Spain are as big as douches are ever, but having this conference in Jerusalem (while quite possibly there is no freeze) is nonetheless a victory even with one or two abstentions.
It's a pity the Israelis can't force them to drive down the road that is machine gun alley. Where the fakes murdered the Jewish couples.
This UK gov. makes me so sick! I can't believe their attitude is so much WORSE than Blairs! Filthy arabists!
If Israel is apologetic about its own capital, don't expect the Brits and the Spanish to be more Zionist about it than the Jews.
What could go wrong indeed
